Left 4 Dead's graphics look great. Not the best I have ever seen, but really nice nevertheless. Something about the graphics make the game feel very convincing. More importantly, the gameplay is fantastic. Valve are so good at making games that are engaging and fun. The way the levels were built, the weapons, the teamwork, and the way the different zombies moved (damn they're fast!) was some of the coolest stuff I have seen in a long time.
I agree. I think the game looks great. About the only significant graphical drawback is the poor anti-aliasing. I think the game overall though looks very good. Great lighting, decent textures, fire effects, great art design, character models, etc. I think it looks at least as good as Resistance 2.

The PS3 version doesn't look better, it's actually the other way around. The two versions are virtually identical except the 360 version has better anti-aliasing (2xAA on 360 vs none on the PS3) and less screen tearing. This has all been well documented. How IGN gets off saying the PS3 version looks better is beyond me.

The PS3 does not have sharper textures, that's complete BS. How many times are people going to repeat this nonsense. There is no difference in the texture resolution between both versions.
I have been looking forward to The Last Remnant and it's good to see it get a good score from Famitsu. It's really amazing that I thought the PS3 would be the console to get all the JRPGs this generation, but it turns out the 360 is getting a lot more JRPGs than the PS3 so far. It's a timed exclusive and that means that those of us that don't want to wait a half a year to a year to play it are going to get it for the 360.
