Wow! Those are some amazing numbers. Great job to MS and the 360. The 360 sells far more software than either the Wii or the PS3. And that is interesting too because the Wii has a greater installed base and the 360 still sells much more software. The 360 has only been out one-third longer than the PS3 (3 years vs 2 years) but it has over 2.5 times (actually closer to 3 times) the number of games that have sold more than a million copies.

You can't beat this game in less than 4 hours on expert mode. Nevermind the fact that the game's real strength lies in its fantastic co-op play and amazing replayability. I agree with IGN when they said L4D is "one of the best multiplayer games weve every played". It really is one of the best and most fun games I have ever played co-op for. Even single player with cpu controlled partners is tremendous fun.
Yep, getting together with three friends and jumping seamlessly into a game of Left 4 Dead is going to be so awesome. I can't wait for NXE or Left 4 Dead.
of course it will be good...bungie know how to make good gameplay. I like the new darker atmoshpere of the game and how it will be incorporating more stealth mechanics. and the other thing is that the game will be cheaper since it isn't as long as some games. nevertheless I am sure that it will be a top seller next year.
Except TheMART is right--the 360 version does look better. It's not a night and day difference, but it is significant and noticeable. Anybody with eyes can see that. PS3 fanboys live in denial. And you say that "360 fanatics are generally regarded as the dumbest people on the internet..."? I disagree. I think that award goes to the PS3 fanboys.

The 360 vesion is much sharper and clearer, and for that reason detail is more apparent. Anyone who tries to deny that is either blind or they are just denying it because they are fans of the PS3 and can't stomach the truth.

I hate all the whiners that complain about these multi-platform comparisons. I like these comparisons and face-offs because I own the PS3 and the 360 and I want to know which version of a multi-platform game is better. People always try to minimize the differences we often see in multi-platform games, but these differences aren't minor at all. If one version has anti-aliasing and the other doesn't, that is an important difference that I want to know about. If one version looks really blur...
That hasn't been my experience. If you can see a difference in a video there will be significant differences when you play the game at full resolution on a HDTV.

BTW, the 360's controller is better than the PS3's DS3.
The graphics in Left 4 Dead aren't the best ever, but they are at least on par with Resistance 2's graphics. To be honest, with the real-time lighting and other effects, I think L4D actually looks a little better than R2. The only negative I see on L4D are the jaggies. Everything else looks great.
I actually find Left 4 Dead more addicting than Resistance 2 co-op.

Because PS3 fanboys have jumped on the issue and exaggerated the hel l out of it. Analysis done over at neogaf has shown that the newer 360 chipsets like the "falcon" are far more reliable than the first iterations of the console. I myself have had mine since launch and it has never given me any problems. I know a lot of people have had problems, but I am also hearing more and more people report PS3 failures. Oh, you wish. Fable 2 is a fantastic game. Banjo Kazooie is another good one. Left 4 Dead is also on my wish list.
I would take Gears 2, Fable 2, Banjo Kazooie, Left 4 Dead, Lips and Last Remnant over Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm 2, and Valkyria Chronicles any day.

People are making excuses for the PS3 saying that the only reason its numbers are so low is because it has been on the market 2 years vs 3 years for the 360. However, this makes no sense.
