I agree that Rage, RDR, and Alan Wake look better, but not Mafia 2. At least not the console versions. They both had way too much screen tearing. Infamous 2 is still a great looking game.

What does it matter where it's quoted? Those are words straight out of Carmack's mouth. Other developers have said similar things.
I can't wait to play inFamous 2, but I also can't believe that people are trying to push it as some kind of graphical marvel.
The first inFamous was a fun, but somewhat mediocre looking game. inFamous 2 looks better for sure, now that it has anti-aliasing and maybe a little better textures, but it still is not even surpassing many multiplatform games.
Yeah, I don't understand what he is saying. Of course it isn't going to be 100% identical to Deus Ex, which is a 10 year old game, but it definitely looks like a Deus Ex game to me.
How do you know it's the PS3 version? I thought I saw a circle button icon on that data pad that he got in the bathroom, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. Anyway, just wondering. It seems to look amazing so that would be good news if they are showing off the PS3 version.
Deus Ex HR and Castlevania are my two most anticipated multiplatform games. Deus Ex looks amazing and I am feeling really positive that they have succeeded in making a game worthy of the Deus Ex name.
I don't know, I actually like the new Dante. He seems like a person that could actually exist. I never once have met or seen a person that looks like the older Dante models.
In my opinion many people are being needlessly pessimistic. We haven't even seen any real gameplay. If the gameplay is good and the story is interesting I'll definitely get it.
Actually, Game Informer gave it a 7, I think. But, yes, most of the scores have been in the 8 to 9 range.
Anyway, that's the way it usually goes. We humans are not THAT different from each other. Look at most games. Take Uncharted 2 for example, almost every single site gave it a 9+. Not because it was a conspiracy, but because most people were affected the same way by the game.

Apparently Micrsoft thinks that if they give us one big game a year that it will keep us happy and paying for Xbox Live.
It doesn't matter the reason Microsoft gives for the delay, the fact is that it will allow them more time to polish the game.
I don't really mind the delay. I was getting worried about having to buy too many games in the first part of 2011 like Killzone 3, Deus Ex HR, LittleBigPlanet 2, Dead Space 2, Team Ico Collection, Infamous 2, and Crysis 2.
That said, it does make me wonder what in the world MS will have for the 360 the rest of the year. I have a feeling the Crytek exclusive, Project Kingdoms, won't make it out next year, so what aside from Gears of War 2 will I be playing on my 360 ...
I love the color palette and the art direction. I have high hopes for this game.

The animations in fact look extremely good in Castlevania Lords of Shadow. You don't have to be so defensive of PS3 exclusives that you lie about other great games.
Nonsense. This is where people go way off the deepend. Saying Castlevania looks like crap compared to Uncharted 2 is pure delusion. It may or may not quite stack up to Uncharted 2, but it is definitely close.

I also thought it looked on par with God of War 3. I even popped in my copy of God of War 3 after playing it to make sure my memory wasn't failing me.
I think both games look better in certain ways. God of War 3 had the advantage though because I was able to see all the varied environments of the game, compared to the two small sections of Castlevania we got to see in the demo.
