I'll be playing a lot of exlusives on my PS3 next year, that's for sure.
I love the look of this game. The graphics are way better than the first two Resistance games. I don't think the art direction is too drab anyway. It seems to have more color than Fall of Man, while still looking like an authentic war zone.
As for the blue blood, it can be blue if it is alien blood. We don't know what color the blood of aliens might be.
I like Campaign co-op better. But I'm sorry for those of you that will really miss it. I thought it did have some good ideas and was pretty fun.
I can't wait for Resistance 3. These look great.
I'm there. I play Uncharted 2 all the time anyway. This is going to be great though. 5x the cash on all playlists, woohoo!
Not everybody has the same needs, Ju. For example, some people might already own a Blu-ray player, in which case such a feature wouldn't really be a selling point for those people. Or the console might be intended for more than one person and they really like to play two player games, in which case the extra controller would be an important thing to have.
Besides, you assume that people would be choosing to buy a 360 instead of a PS3, when in fact this bundle might be good...
The 360 is set up to do very well this holiday, but I think the PS3 will do just fine. With GT5 and Move I think the PS3 will sell very well too.
4GB is what the original Xbox has so yeah it basically is a harddrive. It may not be enough for some people, but like Alpha-Male22 said, it will be enough for other people.
Unless the PS1 or PS2 is in first. In that case you brag it up to the heavens. I love both consoles, but I am sick of the hypocrisy. I guarantee if the PS3 ever surpasses the 360 we will see fanboys talk about it non stop. Suddenly sales will matter again.
Well people always spin things. One thing people try to do is compare to sales of Wii Fit and sarcastically say "then Wii Fit must be the best game ever".
What they fail to realize is that to the demographic Wii Fit is selling to it obviously is one of the best games out there. That's why they chose to spend their hard earned cash on that game and not something else.
But when you are comparing games that are both targeted at the hardcore gamin...
I agree with you. I love God of War because of its quality and what it does with those basic elements, but you are correct that it didn't invent those elements.
God of War didn't invent quick time events. It didn't invent slashing with a weapon. It didn't invent combos. It didn't invent the use of magic. It didn't invent platforming. Nothing about it was truly unique, yet it was a captivating game because of what it did with those elements.
It's a great game in my opinion. I agreed with what you said in your review.
It feels nothing like doing homework. It's a blast. I loved the whole game.
I think it is funny that people think they know what console or consoles other people own.
I admit I haven't quite beaten it yet, but I have played a lot and so far I would give it a 9.4. Amazing game!
I already have the game and love it, so I couldn't care less what any "reviewer" thinks at this point.
I think Sony will do just fine with GT5, the Move games, and multiplatform games. Not to mention that just because certain games came out earlier in the year doesn't mean that people won't be picking them up this holiday. Games like GOW3, Heavy Rain and Demon's Souls will still encourage some people to finally pick up a PS3.
Same goes for games on the 360 like Halo Reach, Alan Wake, and Splinter Cell Conviction. Just because they came out already doesn't me...
Hey, I understand that some people have gaming PCs and will prefer to wait to get Fable 3 on that platform, but don't act like everyone has a gaming PC.
I would love to get into PC gaming, but I don't have the money to spend and I already have several consoles to support. Just on the PS3 and 360 it is hard for me to keep up with all the games I want to play. My computer is a crappy old laptop that couldn't begin to play any modern game.

Both games are great but Castlevania wins in my opinion. It is an ideal multiplatform game; it has absolutely amazing graphics, zero screen tearing, and looks and runs very good on both platforms. Sadly, Enslaved isn't that consistent. Gameplay-wise I also think that Castlevania is more varied and is more polished and fun. I think they both have great narratives.
For me Castlevania is the game I would get first, but depending on what you are looking for Enslaved mig...
Well, I'm glad that Gears of War 3 is coming because it looks great. The problem is, we need more games like this. Kinect games, for the most part, do not appeal to most hardcore gamers I know.
