Lighten up. He's just some "19 year old boy" who is interested in video games and is learning to write about them. He doesn't have the experience yet to have the knowledge needed to answer the question, and all he has is what others have written to base his opinions on.

Backwards compatibility is a nice feature at the beginning of a console cycle because it provides an immediate library worth of games for the player. But two years in? It's appeal loses ...

At least somebody gets it. Right now, there are only 2 consoles offering backward compatibility: Wii U and XBOX 1. The Wii U is by far superior in its bc offering in every way possible... though it would be better if Virtual Console games would just work.

PS Now is not backward compatibility. I do not understand why people cannot understand this simple fact. Everytime Microsoft tries to do a little jab at Sony by saying they're not going to make people pay to play games t...

What is taking some of these devs so long to get their promised PS Vita versions out? Some games are great on the PS4 and some scream to be played on a handheld. I only want Axiom Verge on my Vita. And I only wanted to play Bro Force on the Vita too, until it got canceled.

I guess better late than never... I just hope it doesn't run into performance issues.

I hope it comes to devices like Fire TV as well. I'd say AppleTV, but knowing Apple, they probably wouldn't allow the device to sync with a PS3 controller.

More people used Windows Media Center than will use XB1 bc, so they'll probably end it after a year or so.

Right on! BC is a feature that sounds great on paper but nobody is really interested in. People didn't storm out and buy the Wii because it could play Game Cube games. People didn't buy the Wii U because it was BC. The original PS3 was BC but nobody cared. You buy a new console to play new games and that's the truth.

Besides, I look at the 100+ games that were announced for XB1 BC and all that jumps out at me are a ton of old Sega games that nobody has cared about...

I've been playing this game since it launched and it freaking rocks! It is old school, but it's a perfect game for the Vita.

I thought Nintendo's problem was that they didn't have a holiday lineup? I think they're beginning to put all their eggs in the NX basket now and the Wii U isn't going to get much more love.

I don't know what everyone else here is thinking, but this is a horrible month. The PS4 was always given a pass at getting the "big" games because it was a new system. But now as it approaches its second bday, it's still getting crappy games through Plus. Hell, month 1 with Resogun and Contrast was almost better than this, especially when XB1 recently got Black Flag.

As for the PS3, Mass Effect 2 is solid... considering they just had the entire trilogy on s...

Doesn't it though? If a game is something that people want to play, doesn't that make them "bad?" How good is a game if its audience doesn't want it? Tell Tale games are notoriously bad on a technical level, and personally I feel they managed to trick people into believing their games are better than they are.

I can't comment as to why others didn't buy the Wii U, only why I didn't. At launch, it didn't offer anything beyond what I already had. My PS3 was a media powerhouse that could do everything. It was my bluray player, DVD player, Netflix machine, and gamine console with a great lineup of games.

The Wii U had the promise of a TV feature which sounded slightly interesting, but wasn't available at launch. It had off screen play, which was potentially cool. B...

I think the problem Nintendo has with third parties has to do mostly with their controllers. While the other two consoles have very similar controllers, Nintendo has to have something wildly different. This causes even more time, effort, and money to port a game to the Wii U.

But if people bought the Wii U, then maybe their would be a market for third party games and it wouldn't be a big deal. So why didn't people buy the Wii U? Bad marketing. Lack of features (like ...

Or you combine the two and get something completely new! What a concept! I think the PSTV never had a "rise" and it's not dead, so this makes sense to me.

I see the pstv as a missed opportunity. Sony could have had something great on their hands, but because of the success of the PS4, they have ignored everything else. And I wouldn't be surprised if Morpheus gets the same level of support as the other flop products.

There are a bunch, but everybody has different ideas. Some off the top of my head are:
Mutant Blobs Attack
Wipeout 2048
Gravity Rush
Virtua Tennis 4
Modnation Racers Roadtrip
Unit 13
Sly Collection
Ratchet and Clank Collection
Metal Gear HD Collection
PlayStation All Stars
The two Oddworld games, Strangers Wrath and Munch's Oddysee

I'm also a fan of Spyhunter, Epic Mickey and Lego Chi...

Spot on. If the Apple TV is indeed going to be $150, then it's probably dead in the water. For $200 you can get a PS3 which can also double as a dvd/bluray player. What advantage does a suped up Apple TV provide? It'd be an inferior gaming machine and a more expensive media streaming device.

It looks like it improves the game in every way. Very excited for this one now.

Infinity 2.0 didn't score this well but it was also saddled with some mediocre play sets. 3.0 definitely looks like they corrected a lot of the major complaints and have created a really great game.

I'm looking forward to this one.

Maybe the standards are lower on the 3DS? Who knows. But PS+ subscribers will get to decide for themselves next week. The more let's plays I watch of this, the less excited I am.

They sold out of most everything before noon. The PSTV bundle was a good get though. Got a DS3 plus the console for less than the cost of the controller.
