$749? Is that more or less than PS3 is selling for in that country? I don't see how they intend to draw people away by introducing a more expensive console. Also if Microsoft is introducing a better version they should sponsor some sort of trade in deal for early adopters who will now own obsolete hardware.

The best thing I've seen for Vista is the ability to use your USB thumb drive to boost your computers memory. You'll see the most increase in performance on 512mb and 1gig machines. I also love how the new Aero desktop interface takes almost no performance away from your game applications.

A game could have the best mechanics, but if the source material disagrees with you then the game suffers for it. Im sorry I stopped playing the game after I beat someone to death with the bat and the man on the radio said, "Oh yeah, your getting me off." That was it..end of story.

It made me feel dirty for playing it. I've lost my respect for Rockstar, it just seems like they sink to new lows with every game they make. To this day I have never played San Andreas and I will not be playing this game either.

Because then console gamers would have to learn to use their computer for something other than the internet.

Vista is not a requirment for Crysis. It is only required if you plan to buy a DX10 capable vido card to run the game at highest quality.

I wouldn't say Halo was overhyped, just that it was the first console shooter that wasn't mediocre on a console. Until Halo the only good shooters were on PC, but PC gaming isn't for everyone. Halo was something for the casual or more mainstream console crowd. So, while I wouldn't rank Halo as high as Half-Life, Halo was far from being overhyped.

This game has been missing for so long, I have almost completly lost interest in it. The concept sounded good, but once I saw gameplay, it just didn't seem so interesting anymore.

The only problems that I can foresee is having the ability to enable and disable mods. They need a way for console owners to download and install mods right from the modders and not have to wait for them to pass through the devs first. For those who don't know, you can only play a mod with other people who have the same mod already or play single player mods...what good is a new player skin if nobody can see it.

Most newer computers are capable of running Vista, and to purchase a new copy of Vista Home Premium(Got to have premium because it has best features) is only $160 or less depending if you get a full copy or an XP upgrade. As far as DX10 cards go, by the time Crysis comes out there should be a full range of compatible cards. So it could be equivilent to buying a new console. Just depends on what your into.

There is no such thing as a PC fanboy. There are console fanboy's and PC enthusiasts. PC enthusiasts actually have to have some understanding of hardware and software, console fanboy's only have to plug and play, and then go and rip on someone else because they don't like the same things you like.

It's hard to find exclusive PC titles sometimes, because unlike consoles PC's have no first party. I prefer my PC to consoles though, because it gives me more control and Keyboard and mouse beat a controller any day.

This is good news, and not too much trouble for early adopters. You paid what you paid to get it early...oh well. It also cools easier, but the first versions don't have a big heating problem anyway.

I liked the part when he said Gears on the PC is only a matter of finding the right time to do it. It's already run on PC so there won't be much problem crossing it over. It's also cool that they are trying to port over Player generated content from the PC. Too bad most devs aren't that dedicated

This game isn't only going to be bought by people who can run it at max spec's. This game will work across a broad range of hardware. Great PC shooters have never had trouble making sales. In the end it's not about graphics it's about gameplay and shooters play better on PC's.

Same people who rated Halo 2 above Half-life 2, when Halo 2 was widley known as a let-down and Half-life 2 was getting all the game of the year awards. I think there's more than a little bias in Game media.

I can't wait for the Black Mesa Mod. Half Life completly redone in the Source engine, and with the full blessing on the developers too. Hopefully it will be done before the end of the year.

If you think thats crazy you should see the computer that is cooled with cooking oil.

It should still be called UT 2007 for PC because there was no UT 1 or 2 on PC.

I made this picture my desktop background. Notice that the front tire has been shredded and the passengers are trying to shield themselves. I can't wait for this game.
