Any reason to back up that flame-bait?
When was Unreal Tournament 2007's release ever questioned for 360? I always thought it was. You hardley ever see PC share a title with Playstation and not with Xbox. Also John Carmack and ID Software are not making QuakeWars, Splash Damage is, if it is going to 360 it's going to be a while.
It wasn't stated anywhere that the games they were using UE3 for are on PS3.
Why does everyone associate UE3 engine with XBox360. Epic does not belong to Microsoft. UE3 is a cross-platform engine. This also doesnt' mean that they are definitly scraping the White engine. They are just to cut a few corners on futur projects.
I could definitly see Spore as a game of the year. If you are talking awards across platforms...Halo will have to go against Crysis, HL2:Episode 2, and possibly Killzone. God of War or Heavenly Sword could take best Action game. I'm going to reserve judgement on Mass Effect untill it comes out and we'll see if it lives up to it's hype. The Rainbow6 games have been on the decline since R6:2. They used to be a respectable Strategic Tactical Shooter. Now they're just another action game.

I just hope they can preserve their style, while using someone else's engine. Guess we'll see now if the UE3 engine is good for anything besides men in big metal suits.
The same could be said of Halo. Did it do anything original...not really. And you cannot fault Insomniac on weapons. RFOM features one of the best and most interesting collection of weapons in an FPS, in my opinion. Especially the Splitter, Fuel-Air grenades, and Backlash grenade. Resistance also has a skill point system that is interesting and fun to try to complete all challenges.

Resistance's spike grenade is not a sticky bomb, but a bomb that shoots spikes hense the name. If Halo3's grenade is only a sticky bomb then they are only similar in name and not in function.
What I have seen of Mass Effect, aside from good visuals, bores me.
This has X-bot writen all over it. Even when he's praising Vista he can't stop talking about the 360. "Best Shooters on Consoles..." Don't make me laugh. PC's have always been home to the best FPS,MMO,RTS,Simulation, and multiplayer games(free multiplayer).
This hasn't been confirmed for 360. As far as I've heard a console version hasn't even been talked about. I hate the 360 media they some how think that the Xbox is entitled to every game in development.

Number 1 maybe, that is the most addictive game I have ever played and one of the most fun games ever.
It doesn't suprise me in the least that PS3 aren't flying off selves with only RFOM(great game by the way), COD3, Marvel Alliance, and Fight Night to choose from. Come end of Febuary and March sales will definitly pick up in the US with the second wave of release games.
This game might have some retail success, because it was released in one of the slowest periods of the year. But in December no one will remember this game.
Lost Planet isn't reviewing too well. My bet is on Gears retaining it's positon as number 1.
I found an unbundled 60gb PS3 at my local Best Buy. I didn't even go there to look for it, but I did leave with one and a copy of RFOM. I couldn't believe how heavy it was, but it does look good next to my HDTV.
What the PC isn't allowed exclusive games? Devs want to make the best game possible, so they go where the best hardware is. If you want to play it, get a gaming rig.
