I love how your trying to steal money away from your beloved MS. Would you pay for a second account? And pay 100 dollars a year for glorified Gamespy. PC wins again with free user generated content.
You paid for games like GOW and Halo2 for their multiplayer components, why should you have to pay again just to play them? Why does Microsoft have to charge and all the games I play multiplayer on my PC are free? You already paid for an ISP, MS is just being a parasite.

I spotted something familiar to all the halo games...crappy level design. The Halo games have all had blocky, un-inspired, and repetetive environments.
None of these screens impresses me much. Dare I say GOW or RFOM looks better. I know its early but these are nothing to brag about.
They might not because of balance issues(keyboard&Mouse vs gamepad). I almost hope they don't. It would open the door for all the 12 year olds to f'up my gaming experience.

For real though, if they can improve on RE4 more power to them, because that game was nothing but perfect.
Say I'm playing CS:Source and I take a minute to look at the advert for Subway, someone is going to shoot me in the back of the head. It is in my best interest to ignore the advertising and focus on the game. This is going to lead to more PC players using custom maps instead of the offical game maps with advertising, unless they figure out a way to paste advertising in any map.
ID is not developing this game though SplashDamage is. Check this link. The only information on a 360 version is speculation, no official statements.

Nintendo brought Sony into the video game buisness when Nintendo wanted to develope a CD add on for the SNES, kind of like SegaCD, but Nintendo betrayed them for Philips even though they never made the add on and went with cartridges for N64 . So Sony went Solo, and ultimatly kicked Nintendos a$$. Sony got into gaming for revenge.
Its possible, but the developer, SplashDamage, isn't going to commit to one yet. It might be a little while unless they have another studio working on the port.

Its just a heavily modified DoomIII engine so it's very possible that they could.
The bad thing about MMO's is that they are only good for about 2 years. By that time a group of Super Elite players usually take over, and the game forms extream guidlines of play, if you do not do things a certain way at a certain time you will probably be ridiculed by your entire party. Also the online economies tend to get out of hand when players start paying real money for ingame currency, making necessary items unaffordable to the everyday gamer. WOW is a great game but I just canceled ...

You don't have to be one or the other. You can do both. My PS2 is hooked into the TV right next to my PC monitor. You couldn't get me to be an only console player if you paid me a million dollars.
If me or you gamed like it was our job, we would win competitions too, especially if we had the developers giving us tips. You don't find it suspicious that they are sponsored by the devs? The female clan 'PMS' seems a little more real to me.
I'll buy one when they stop bundling them with games I don't want like NBA 07.
