I never really liked that thing that came out of Scorpion's hand. How did a spear-tip on a rope become a crazy snake-thing? They should have focused more on his ability to teleport and left the spear alone. They did do a pretty good job of casting the first movie. If they are going to try again with this franchise keep Paul Anderson away from it, he infects everything he touches, I'll never forgive him for ruining AvP.
What exactly are they hoping to get in a collectors edition?
Because it's playstation 2 & 3.
I believe in all game manuals is a warning to epileptics that games may cause seizures. Anyway if you know your child has epilepsy and you plop him down in front of the television for hours, perhaps you need a visit from child services.
Now if only we could get Joe Developer to put something on it worth getting linux for.
Looks like the most diabolical dentist chair ever.
I don't know if I could ever play MGS again if Snake didn't have the same voice.
I don't think so. With High defenition becoming more popular in broadcast, cable, and satalite programming. How long were we expecting standard definition DVD's to last? Sure you can upscale, but is that really HD?
If they had added a Blue-Ray player from the start they would have been directly aiding their competition. Also I don't think they released the combo-players until after the PS3 released
I think if they wanted to make gears longer they could have just added another disc. Longer doesn't alway mean better, and I have absolutely nothing agains Resistance. Epic just took the best graphics and great gameplay and jammed it into (7 or 8?) hours of gameplay, and people responded positively. I haven't played Gears yet, but I hope to some time, maybe on my PC :).
I don't see how you can compare the slim-line to the Elite360. The Slim PS2 came out 4 or 5 years after the original, it was a fraction of the cost, and it contained no new hardware. There was no reason to upgrade to a slim, you can't even call it upgrade because there was nothing upgraded. On every point it is oposite to the Elite360.
E-distribution won't be fully feasible until 100% of the population can get broadband internet service. 30% of America is still without high-speed internet.
All they need to do now is add an HD-DVD drive and we will never have to hear about price points again. Personally I think this is a horrible precedent to start.
There is a difference between game dumping and someone hacking your machine to use for their own malicious purposes. While these "mods" could be construed as hacking they in no way constitute a security threat to you or your machine.
Sorry, I think you've mistaken the PS3 for your 360. No one has been able to crack PS3 security, while net-thieves are stealing X-box Live accounts. By adware do you mean in game advertising? Hey, whatever keeps the cash in my wallet is a plus. PS3 owners can look to the future with hope while 360 owners look to the future with fear of when MS is going to make them purchase a new hardware model, to stay up to date.
Oh yeah? I remember when I could install a game on my pc with 300mb of space, then pretty soon they were pushing the 1gig threshold, and now we got games that take as much as 4 gigs of hard-drive space. Games only get bigger. This just illustrates MS's problem of being stuck in the "Now" while Sony looks to the future.
My view on Lost Planet and Dead Rising is that they were designed for next-generation hardware in mind, and what was the only Next-gen system out during their development?...360. Had both systems been relesed at the same time I believe you probably would have seen a multiplatform release for those also. But, my point again is, is there a precedent for a game that has switched platform exclusivity? It also doesn't make sense to move a game away from it's intalled base of fans.
I'm sure this will be a multiplatform release. What was the last exclusive Sony lost, that became exclusive to Xbox? I can't think of any, help me out if you know of any.
Try Inconsequential, since no PC gamer who doesn't own an XBox Live account is going to pay for this service. Live anywhere is just going to fade in with all the other gamming services like Gamespy and X-Fire. If they add PC to Xbox play on silver accounts maybe some will use it but they still won't pay for it.
How exactly do you revitalize a speedy hedgehog???
