The CEO of Crytek already commented on a console port. He said that at this time there is no console version in production and they haven't even talk about porting it. Maybe consoles will get something from Crytek down the road, but there won't be any simultaneous release for Crysis.
Sorry, but I think I'm going to call bullSh!t on your comment. First you say It's not impressive then you cry about how you won't be able to utilize the high end graphics. Your comment on the framerates is a little naive considering the game is still alpha and pre-optimization. If you were any kind of PC gamer you would be following this game and you would know what it was offering. This game is probably the best thing PC gammers have seen since Half Life 2.
My brain is having a hard time wrapping around the syntax of this article. @_@
This is probably one of the best games you could ever get.
All this means is that they are in negotiations with Square-Enix, most likley about what it will take for the FF series to remain exclusive to Playstation. This doesn't necessarily mean Square was planning on taking it multiplatform. If I were them I would be talking to Konami as well.
Does that mean they are in talks about ensuring it's exclusivity or are they in talks about expanding it to another console?
If this was anything like retail here in the States, these retailers would lose the right to sell any new release hardware or software.
You must never have played DMC3 then, or are you one of those people who couldn't even make it past the first boss. DMC3 was amazing, but I am questioning their choice to abandon Dante as the main character. I hope to be plesantly surprised. I don't care that it's gone multiplatform, if anything I'll get to laugh at more people with no skill complain about it being too hard.
If the game is on PC, most likely its better on PC. Better graphics, better control, free multiplayer, and mod expandable.
If Halo comes with a helmet then Half Life 2 should come with a crow-bar. You should probably buy the standard and the Legendary if you can, but don't open the legendary one. You never know what could become collectible.
This is the game that I'm leaving World of Warcraft for.
I wouldn't think that you would have to replace anything. It is still a disc format. It's not like switching from casset to disc. As long as it is still a disc based format you should be able to keep all your old movies.
Do you think that consoles have a monopoly on microphones? A mic is almost a necessity now in online PC games.
Why should I wan't to play against 360 players? When I already have millions of PC gamers to play against. What difference is there between playing someone on a PC or somone on a 360, besides maturity level(sorry Xbox'ers, there are way more 12 on Xbox than there are on PC's).
I don't know. This is more like saying Hey guess what Tickle Me Elmos will sell twice as good as PS3. The Wii is just a toy. Can anyone point to any cool exclusives, besides Mario(if you think Mario is cool), that are coming out this year? I don't know of any.
Valve needs to stick to what they know, PC's. Consoles are the reason we have to wait so damn long for the next episodic content.
Screw the consoles! If its ready for PC release it now. A little fan loyalty would be appreciated.
Where are the DX10 cards!?!?! We need some competition for Nvidia, then the prices can go down.
Please don't compare Live to MMO's. With MMO's you have an entire world to move in, plus storage of character information and 24/7 support. With Live your paying just to play deathmatch and capture the flag, which PC players have never had to pay for, and will never pay for. This may work for people who own a gaming PC and a 360, but for standalone PC gammers, this will never catch on. I see no point in also owning a 360, because most of the games are on PC anyway. This is where we start seei...
Ok, your a PC gammer that doesn't like FPS's, MMO's, or competetive online gamming, to each his own I suppose, but I wouldn't save my money for the graphics card, because I don't think you'll be pleased with the PC's future offerings. Your right Graphics don't make a game, but neither do gimmicks. Prey had portals and thats it, horrible story and no challenge. I would suggest you try STALKER, its not the prettiest game but the FPS and roleplaying elements mesh well. We know hardly nothing abo...
