Very true.
It's not normally this bad, though.
Edit: Though I guess they're not normally based on movies this bad, either.
Let the truth be told!
+bubbles, +bubbles a million times over!
And while we're talking about fanboys of other systems giving an "amen" to negative Wii news, let me give one to you.
Amen!
I do agree that there is something wrong when you're using a few gaming consoles in place of a super computer, but I'm not sure that is the biggest mistake here.
Perhaps even more strange is the fact that Sony is losing so much on each PS3 made that a scientist can do this, but he's not going to be buying any games.
Ouch to losing money on selling 8 PS3's and never seeing a penny from game sales for them.
"If you hit the disagree button without providing any feedback to this post than you are admitting that I am correct and that you are an agry 7 year old with a Turdstation 3 [WAIT B3YOND]"
That and everything after it is why I hit disagree. The sad thing is you had a good post going until this point and decided to ruin it by acting like you're 5.
For every reason for remakes, I can give reasons against them.
I know I have heard many PS3 owners complain about rehashes, and that's what a remake is. I must say I would rather see a new game than a remake of an old one any day.
Most of why we want some games remade is because we remember them as being so fun. Sadly, when we get to replay those old games, they don't always seem as fun anymore, and that can hurt an old game.
However, if the old ...
The number of "me too" games only hurts the developer that says..."me too."
Make a good game that isn't something that's already been done and you'll have a hit, regardless of the number of low quality games on the console. Everyone seems to forget that the PS2 had little more than terrible games its first year.
Looking at Gusto's website, the Wii is a chance for them to do something special and become known, but when you see 6 games a develo...
The PS3 is about 6 million down on the 360 and Wii, which are right together. Regardless of the source for the numbers, a 6 million unit gap is pretty standard right now.
Over 9 months, that would mean the PS3 would have to sell 666,666 MORE consoles than the Wii and 360 to take the lead.
Impossible, or sign of how evil Sony is? Maybe both?
Seriously, the PS3 is still years away from getting the lead, if it ever does, and my money is on it won't....
It's outselling the GBA, and by much more than it's outselling the GBA in Japan!
MS has always worked with NA and almost NA exclusivly. I don't see why you point out now a trend that has not changed since MS made a console.
Capcom does seem to be liking the Wii.
A real RE? I'd be suprised, but I guess RE5 to the Wii wouldn't be much diffrerent than MH3, but its not HUGE news.
As hyped as this is getting, I would be suprised it it was something about a sequal to anything, except maybe another Mega Man saga (it would be close enough to a new game), and I'm not sure they would do that with ZX going on.
I'm betting brand spanking new IP, probably for the Wii (Capcom used...
"Are you saying that wii purchases are impulsive? If you are, I would disagree with you since I waited impatiently for months for the release of it, and I would certainly not call that impulsive. I got mine on launch date, and have not regretted getting it when I did."
Some are. For me, Mercury Meltdown is an impulse buy. SSBB is not...not at all at this point...
He's saying the Wii and DS games offer some hardcore games that are not an impulse4 buy b...
"A. Knows & Appreciates the difference.
B. Spend money and time into their electronic audio and visual components."
If this is what both formats are aiming for, both are doomed to fail.
If the average person didn't have a DVD player, we'd still have VHS. If the average person is out of the group either HD format wants, both will fail and we'll still have DVD.
Very few people know the difference, and fewer still have the time ...
Yeah, it's actually pretty funny.
I don't know why I bother to say anything on this kind of thing, actually.
It seems that I am an "xbot," but I don't know what that means. I thought it was an xbox fanboy, but I hate the 360, and I would rather any company have gotten into the industry than MS, so I must be wrong.
Either that or Sony fanboys just assume that anyone who doesn't love bluray must be a MS fan. Either way, the replies of pro...
Me and most other Americans don't care.
I don't have the thousands of dollars it takes to watch true this and hear true that. I'll stick with my older HD TV and el cheapo sound system that can't handle all the fancy stuff, no matter if they offer it or not.
I wonder why Sony fanboys wonder why people make a big deal about the 40 GB PS3 not having BC when they make a big deal about something like this.
I refuse to believe that they all have thousan...
Five year life cycles for Nintendo.
That's all I need. They've always had a 5 year life cycle for every console they've made.
2011 will likely also be the sweet spot for getting an HD console out there, as well as getting slightly better power than the current gen consoles at the reasonable price Nintendo loves to give us.
Five years, as always.
I have to agree.
It's fine not to like a console, but all I see from Red is clear fanboyism against it, saying only anti-Wii slogans without anti-Wii reasoning.
Heck, even if you just don't like it, that's fine. I just don't like the games for the 360...that and the failure rate. I don't like the expense or bluray in the PS3, and I don't like how arrogant Sony is.
Yet, how I dislike the other consoles, not only do I not say anything bad about the...
Can you really say MS is worse than Sony?
With the 40 GB, its 4 SKUs in America, I believe, unless I missed one.
I just hope Nintendo doesn't go changing the Wii like mad...it would be nice to have at least one company get it right the first time.
Though, to be honest, looking at how this gen has gone so far, I'm not putting any bets on it.
Your right, but the question isn't is it good or not, because a monopoly is never a good thing. I really hope that even MS fanboys can see that.
But can they actually take over with a slow creeping strategy when the market is based so heavily on early sales.
Imagine next gen, if the 360 is the major underdog, gets no developers, and ends up being a success out of the gates, like Nintendo has done this gen? Well, if they keep with their high-powered console, the...
Brian, I'm 21, and I do remember the whole PS2/DVD player expense thing.
However, this is something quite different. I know two people with PS3's. ONe only watches DVDs because he doesn't have an HDTV, and the other is an HD DVD supporter.
The PS3 as a bluray player argument only works for people who want bluray anyway. Somone who is happy with DVD or wants HD DVD to win isn't using the PS3 as a bluray player, and considering one study found that only 40% of P...
MS has made it sound a little like a grudge match with how long the 360 can go compared to the PS3, so who knows what MS might do.
However, there should be little doubt that Nintendo will bring out a new console in 2011, keeping with their 5 year lifecycles.
However, assuming Nintendo does that, and if MS does, the real question is who is that an advantage to? Sony would already have a nice install base, but the technology would likely be exposed as not being as...
Can you seriously say you don't enjoy Bleach: Shattered Blade?
That, alone, makes the Wii a good value for Bleach fans, such as yourself, and I think it would be pretty darn good even if you got it having no clue who the people are.
