Your brain needs glucose. The best thing to boost your gaming performance is actually a little sugar. You can't go wrong with a little chocolate.
I do think its interesting that a study has found a possible link between thoughts toward illegal drugs and games. I really hope someone does the test again, with a larger group, and longer times of playing the games, because its totally possible that the random group seperation just got lucky. Of course, the interesting thing abo...
The Atari version may have been nothing compared to the arcade version, but that didn't make it really bad. Just because its not as good as what you had before doesn't mean its a bad game, its just not as good.
I could actually say the same about Driver and Driver 2. Driver 2 wasn't as good but its not anywhere even close to the worst 10 games of all time.
Both of those games were judged by what came before, not by what games are really bad. Of course if you c...
Nothing is as bad as the Hero Pack!

I'm not sure what system the Wu (with 2 dots over the u) is, or why the Wii is mentioned with it, unless its just them trying not to get sued.
Some of those are pretty bad, but who doesn't want to play some games while they go to the bathroom? And, its not a bad slogan if you say "don't have fast feet? Why no...
Next-gen is just like hardcore. No one will ever agree on what it actually means.
To me, its just the next in the line of consoles a company makes. It seems like no one can even agree on what generation we're on right now! That artical says generation 5. but many people say generation 6, and generation 7 isn't unheard of. When did this generation even start? Xbox 360 or DS? Have fun reaching a conclusion.
Next-gen is just PR speak to make you want to spend...
I feel the same way, but of course you'll vote for your system and what's on it.
A poll that asks "who is the best current QB in the NFL? Payton Manning or Tom Brady?" would only get you results on if more people are fans of the Colts or the Patriots, not who people really think the better player is.
The same goes for this. More people who own the 360 voted, so it got most of the awards.
There's nothing wrong with that. It's just not ac...
I don't NEED Madden, but I might get it just to upgrade for a new console. Then I'll return to not buying one for 5 years, since I don't care about the little year to year changes.
Customer suppoert can be a great or aweful thing. I remember when I got my Gamecube, after a year and a month, it decided it wasn't going to work. My grandma had gotten it for me for Christmas the year before, and the warrenty was out, so my grandpa openned it up to see if he could fix it, and he couldn't. We called Nintendo, explained what happened, and my hopes were obviously low. They said the first ones had problems, we had one, and we could send it in and get a new one.
I totally agree.
Someone who knows better than me (I know nothing, everyone knows better than me) said that it would have been very hard for any console that hooks up to a TV to be region free, and had it been done, the price would have been higher.
I buy it, because it seemed as though Nintendo wants to move away from region locking consoles (loook at the DS).
However, you can't change what a company does just because you want something different....
I guess it sounds like Home if you ignore the whole difference between games. Not to mention the fact that Sony hasn't been making games (and therefore, working toward making their vision of a game party) for as long as Nintendo has been trying to make gaming something you do with others in person.
I really doubt your friend can have a game and Home let you and him play it, without you having the game. A Wii party can, since you'd be there in person.
I, persona...
Great read.
I think the classification needs to be done away with, but its doubtful that it will die anytime soon.
The problem is that there is no real way to classify a "casual" or "hardcore" game. I know many people would say Halo is hardcore, but I know more people who play it 15 minutes a day that work on it 12 hours a day...many more, in fact.
On the other hand, I know most people would say a game like Tetris is casual, be...
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
This just shows that some boxes have too much put in them. The extra features of the 360 and PS3 are nice, but the reason I don't own one is actually because of so many of those extra features. I can't afford to spend $200 more on extras that I'll never even use.
Now, I don't think there's much of an excuse for not knowing about the HD potential of your console, which is a feature you're likely to use in the next 5 yea...
Looking back, it seems strange people complain about the graphics of the Wii. Does anyone really think Waverace 64 looks bad? Wall of trees on Drake Lake (is it bad I still remmeber the name of that course?) and pipes not sticking out of walls.
Besides those minor details, and I do believe they're minor, would anyone complain about a game that looks like this one, if it came out today?
I want it for the Wii now! I can only imagine what the motion controls woul...
I think this shows that some companies (Microsoft, Sony, I'm looking at both of you) are trying to cram to much into a system made for games.
Don't get me wrong, extra stuff is great, but the vast majority of extras in any system aren't a big deal. I's fun to check out the weather on the Wii, but its not exactly something that I would miss, since there is a national and 3 local weather channels on my TV!
I have a DVD for movies, and I don't have an HD TV, so the...
Well, though the list is biased, I only see 2 360 games I would want, those being Mass Effect and BioShock, and both will probably be for the PC, as well, so no need for me to get a 360...not that I can afford it anyway...
PS3 has nothing I'd really want. That's good for me.
The Wii, for it, I will be getting the Holy Trinity (Mario, Metriod, Brawl), and Fire Emblem.
The 360, in my mind, is fairly strong, but since I can play so many of the games ...
After seeing the ad, I'm more mad than just hearing about it.
I guess I'll never see another ad for a movie, because I'm not sure the last time I saw an advertisment for a movie (rated PG-13+) that didn't promote violence more than this.
Oh no, Pirates of the Carribean is promoting stealing from ships and killing people on those ships It's a strech, but so was saying this ad is violent.
It's an obvious reaction to the games-cause-violence line of ...
There are console sellers. People are talking about Madden being a console seller, and it can be, but its not a major one. Most people will buy Madden for the console they already have, and those that pick up a new one will likely go with the cheapest option. After all, if you want to play the game, would you rather pay $500 on top of it for the console or $250? If Madden sells any consoles, it will mostly sell the Wii.
The best console sellers are exclusives. Mario Galaxy...
Never played it on the Dreamcast, but in the GC version, there were multiple hard bosses in that game, which I would consider harder than some of those bosses on that list. Maybe its just because you can avoid getting hit on so many of them, but in a turn based RPG, you're out of luck.
Zelos was quite a beast, involing an easy ship battle, but when you had to fight him/Ramirez in person...ouch. Not much is worse than getting your own attacks used against you, and he loves to ...
Of course the PS3 will outsell the Wii.
If it doesn't, Sony should fire most of the people that so much as looked at the PS3.
After all, the Wii is likely out in 2011, while the PS3 is supposed to last twice as long.
The 360, though, has a more short term issue with the PS3, I'd say. Looking past the 1 week, from the start of the year, the 360 isn't doing so well, with mostly flat sales. The PS3 has been increasing slowly.
Wii sale...
Horror movies are nothing but as much gore as someone can fit into 2 hours, and if you watch a commercial for one, it tries to showcase that most of the time. Cartoons are not generally seen as something adults watch, so 99.99% (made up number, but really, how many reallly violent cartoons are there?) of the time, violent movies involve real people.
So games must be at fault when a kid shoots off a gun, because it let him use his fingers to simulate killing pixilated people. ...
I skimmed though it. I didn't want to lose too many brain cells to Bill's neverending whine fest, but I didn't once see him say that anyone who disagrees with him or Bush is unpatriotic, so I guess he's moving in the right direction.
