A brand new mh game is a tgs thing, not e3. Even an announcement of portable 3rd g wouldn't happen here.
And the only reason the majority of those wishing for a vita mh on n4g don't even care about the game, only that they want the vita to sell better than the 3ds.

The thing is, there are plenty of great games on and coming to the 3ds. It seems weird to me that so many people say that "one game isn't enough" when there are most likely several that they would want or like for it. Admit it: the games have nothing to do with it for most of those bitching in this fashion. Just the name of the console they are played on.

A console that can play MHG3 with dynamic shading and at a higher framerate than its wii forebear is far stronger than a ps1, which can't even play a dumbed down mh.

The most vocal,effective and powerful force here is PlayStation. From the users to the mods and media coverage.
As for negativity, that is pretty universal: the media knows people are drawn to blood, so that's where the focus is. After a few generations of this, everyone has turned pessimistic and jaded,further increasing the amount of negativity in media coverage.
I don't see much happening for the vita this year, save for nearly every big ps3 game getting portable ports. The level of electricity is eerily similar to the 3ds pre e3 2011, which got some good coverage but nowhere near what it deserved or needed.
For Sony, I think there will be 1 or 2 unannounced games overall, with a strong focus on ps3.
For Nintendo, wiiu details and a ton of games. 3ds will also have a good show of western made and Japanese localization ann...
Sure he can play the demo. But if it yields the same conclusion for him as this review, none of you would be satisfied.
It is getting poor reviews, and is being seen as underwhelming by many for real gameplay and design issues. Denying these truths isn't helping anyone or proving anything. And buying a (potentially) bad game because it has a specific name attached to it will only tell developers that they don't have to work very hard to get a sale.

If you ignore the score and actually read the review, kid icarus, mk7 and gravity rush were actually seen in a very favorable light. This game wasn't in any way, as it had insurmountable problems and shortcomings and few if any redeeming qualities.

Most of those people already own a wii, so they aren't buying a second one.
Furthermore, the 3ds still sold better than the vita has been within the same timeframe.

I haven't read the story yet, but I know of one piece of evidence that says a revision won't happen:
The 3ds is set to turn profitable in September, and I highly doubt a revision would allow this to occur has production costs would increase.

Nintendo knows it messed up, and it has admitted so. Why would they then turn around and do it again on purpose?

Mh3g is the latest mh release, and that is for the 3ds.
P3rd isn't coming over, and a possible p3rd g announcement or a mh 4 vita announcement is unlikely outside of tgs. Especially mh4 vita, which may not happen at all.
If anything is announced, it will be a 3g localization.
And the article itself is weird...why would an American trade show detail a European only release?
