No, the worst kind of dlc is the permenently exclusive kind, like Bioshock 3's PS3 exclusive content (the ENTIRE Bioshock 1 game for free.).
Timed exclusivity is just the "honor" of getting to PAY for somethimg before someone else.
They do. On the Eshop/DSiware.
Little, fun games like Art Style: Box Life.
Nothing big, but still fun.
A conference focusing on firmware updates?
This isn't a Sony conference.
Release dates and at least a new game announcement (maybe several, Nintendo isn't going to TGS after all) is what I expect and hope for.
Here's hoping.
You never asked for any specific level of quality, so quit grasping at straws here. You were wrong. Deal with it.
I'm hoping for a Monster Hunter announcement. But my guess is that this is mostly a Nintendo first party thing.
I don't know quite why, but I feel like something awesome will come out of this conference. Fingers crossed.
Does that make it less fun?
While I disagree with your opinion ( if that is what you really think), that is a funny joke.
I think Little Kings story Wii is a good example.
It's one of my favorite games.
While I completely agree whith you, there are such things as space bars, comas, and periods.
Please use them once in awhile.
Oops, 10 each... meaning the same value.
My bad...
A lot of those games not having made the trip yet probably has more to do with Nintendo Europe not wanting them to, or Corporate Nintendo as a whole, than Reggie.
Nintendo will sell these games for the increase in sales it will bring in Europe from gamers who imported American Wiis in order to take advantage of the lower American price.
Think about it. No flat out "no" from Nintendo, empty first half for Nintendo next year console wise, and three big games alot of pe...
LOGICWINS!
...I agree....
If I had a pathetic little laptop, and all I wanted to play were new, small indie games, would it still be outdated? Kinda. But not for it's intended use.
The Wii isn't as strong as it's competitors, but it does what it is intended for.
The "core" didn't like the Wii because they were told not to.
Most everyone else is just fine with it. Not everyone likes it, which makes sense. There is more than one type of person, after all.
But then there are people who decided to hate it when Nintendo stamped their name on it.
And most often, hate isn't logical, so common sense dosen't aply to these people.
Which is a shame, cause the Wii is pretty awesome.
Yep.
Are you sure? A lot of things can happen in 7 months. You might change your mind.
That rumor is bullcrap, and if it were true, also mentions an add on for original 3ds systems for $10.
There are alot of people who want the 3ds to fail. Don't listen to them.
I think the problem here is that people are comparing it to other current gen consoles, which makes little to no sense.
No matter how you personally consider it, the 3DS is next gen, and should only be compared to other consoles of the same gen, of which there are currently none on the market.
If you had a jumping contest between a 2 year old and an 10 year old, who would win?
The one just starting out, or the one with longer, stronger legs?
The 3DS was never dying. It was a beautiful, healthy baby at birth.
It's problem was that some nay-sayers wanted it aborted because of some "minor health issues", or because it didn't come out exactly the way they wanted it to be.
And if we are really going to start bringing up the past with the Virtual Boy, then we all need to remember some other bad launches to.
Don't be a jerk, CoRel.
