WOOOO!!
I can play Zelda with the gyro controls just fine with the 3d on, so saying they don't work at all dosen't make it true for everyone.
I believe they didn't want to overshadow the touch screen capability of the system with a second slide pad, wich is why it was not included. But that's just a guess.
The ds and PSP had the same number of revisions.
But I agree with your sentiment of peoples biase attitude towards Nintendo.
If they do revise it, it will still play all the same games.
Sure, it would suck to buy one days before a revision is announced, but the longer you wait, the chance of that happening just keeps going up.
Just weigh that risk against the games that come out soon, and do what seems best.
Or just wait till monday night....
The point would be the same as if you bought any other game console:
To play games.
If you buy a gaming machine because of it's graphical power abillity or the 3D effect alone, your wasting your money.
You should buy a game console that has games you like on it. That's the point.
Exactly.
Why hope for a WiiU announcement.... at a 3DS based conference?
It would also be neat, in my opinion, if the stick itself just jacks the gyro input, making it possible to make a game with gyro controls that can use the slide pad peripheral without dedicated developement.
Also, Monster Hunter WOO!
But Nintendo also has unprecedented support, along with a well known history in hand held gaming, which does factor in to a game makers decision making process.
Regardless, this story is basing it's opinion on speculation, and things rarely go the people think they will go based on speculation alone.
Remember Nintendo's "launch lineup" at e3 2010?
While I agree with most of your points, you should tone it down a bit.
You can still make a good point without bashing others.
I still believe in Nintendo.
What's wrong with that?
Nuka cola, my 3DS screen is not blurry at all.
Is yours broken?
Yep.
But what if alot of great games come out with no redesign, so you buy it anyway?
And two days later....
A redesign is announced?
Just something everyone waiting to buy a 3DS, or any new gaming platform, should consider.
It's definitely one of the most criticized...
They made some mistakes. That can't be denied.
But when all anyone else says about them is so seemingly baised and negative, it can be hard to not want to jump in.
Also, having a second stick could hurt the chances of developers utilizing the touch screen, as you need a stylus in one hand to use, so that could be why it was left out.
And there's another thing. When Nintendo screws up, nobody analyzes what what went wrong and why. People just start hating, and t...
Seeing as how the Wii has the lowest failure rate of the three home consoles by far, I wouldn't say that's the case.
And while I feel the 3DS dosen't feel quite as sturdy as the DS, I don't think there's anything wrong with it otherwise.
Also, a second stick couldn't cost but so much. They just didn't think they would need it. And third parties proved them wrong, which explains why capcom is so deeply involved with the peripheral.
Yep.
That was true of Sony as well...
WOOOOO!!
