3DS is alive and kicking.
You would know this if you went to any other website.
The 3DSs 3D was also optional, but look how the gaming community twisted that around?
Alot of the Vitas key features seem to require active online to get the most out of them, just like how it dosen't seem to make sense playing a 3DS with the 3D turned off.
The only real difference is the 3D effect is free.
I can't really argue with that, sharingan.
I could try, but it wouldn't end well, I think.
@ Sharingan
Could I say the same about the Zelda remake on 3DS?
How?
Who's Rebecca Greenfield?
Any way, I'd take what she says with a HUGE grain of salt, seeing as how she's wrong that "nobody wants a 3DS".
Because I did, have on, and I am happy with it. That's one person right there.
That is fine. But I have seen alot of articles and comments that simply hate on the 3DS for innacurate, immature, or nonexistant reasons.
And then there are those who treat Nintendo fans like idiots, or worse (though, Nintendo fans are not exclusivly hated, nor are they all innoccent, either.)
Alot of people seem to just want Nintendo to vanish because it's not the company they like. And while I hate the terms "troll",
"hardcore gamer", and ...
white sharingan, that's exactly right. I knew that already, and never said that wasn't the case. People going over to sony was caused by this.
Did Nintendo make a mistake? Maybe. But that is what happend, and Nintendo couldn't do anything about it afterward.
But now they are trying to do something about it, and look how everyone reacts.
Also, what's wrong with ps3/360 level graphics? If the WiiU was more powerful, the result would be prettier, shallow a...
I don't like Kotaku either, mostly because of their 3DS news.
I don't see how WhiteLightnigs comment was blocked. I mentioned Kotaku, and he replied about Kotaku.
Seems on topic to me...
Whose fault was it that third parties left Nintendo for Sony?
Gamers who bought Sony consoles, and Sony for being there.
Nintendo couldn't do anything about that instantly. That's why they're doing it now.
Yep.
Nintendo hasn't changed. The entire mentality of the gaming industry has.
If people didn't want Nintendo to fail, than the stories bashing them would sound more insightful and analytical, but they almost never do.
They're just filled with snarky critiscism, clear bias and propaganda like rhetoric (is that spelled right?).
Go to Kotaku and read some of their stories on the matter. Jim also, of destructoid.
I couldn't disagree more.
Because I can only disagree once.
Yep.
Investors are like fleas. They kind of just bounce around between hosts at the drop of a hat.
Sure, there's a method and a purpose behind each individual, but they are usualy misinformed or lacking in actual knowledge in the company they invest in.
If this were a REAL problem, then alot more investors would have bailed. These are just the nervous uninformed and jumpy investors.
Like fleas.
Jobsey, new IPs have nothing to do with it. if they had announced new IPs, then their share would have dropped even lower, because nothing scares investors more than new and different.
Alot of stock holders in Nintendo probably have very little knowledge of video games, and didn't see what they wanted Nintendo to do at the conference. But you know what? I'd rather have nintendo do what's best for their company and me rather than watch them pander to clueless investers and ...
Probably.
How did you get disagrees?
This thread is amazing...
just... wow.
It dosen't give me a headache at all.
Don't get caught up in the whirlwind of media accusations levied against the 3DS.
