What people really don't realise is that Nintendo didn't save the game industry once: They may have saved it twice.
Before the Wii, the game industry had begun to stagnate, and the industry as a whole was shrinking.
Add to that the rising cost of making games (which helped close alot of studios), it could have gotten real bad if one thing didn't happen:
The Wii.
Regardless of what people think of the Wii, it diversified the industry. Alot of p...

Quick poll: Who here actually wants to buy Monster Hunter at all?
My answer: I do. (3DS)
Anyone else?

Which is why it would be best for everyone for MH4 to be a timed exclusive.
MH4 on 3DS first= 3DS sales increase and capcom makes money on software sold.
Nintendo wins, Capcom wins.
Then, it comes to PSV.
People will buy Vita for Monster Hunter, even if they own a 3DS, but I highly doubt it would work the other way around.
Sony wins, Capcom wins.
End result: Everyone wins. Especially the gamer, who has extra choice and more games for both ...

Why the disagrees? Is he not allowed to like something Nintendo has made without being ridiculed?
Or are these Nintendo people mad about the lack of games? Either way, back off.

I would add the lower Nintendo stock these past few months. I'm sure Capcom stock holders looked up Nintendo after this announcment and got spooked.

But it has the new environment from portable third, all 12 weapons, a crapload of monsters that were absent from tri and two partners in solo play. It has the story from tri and moga village instead of the village from portable 3rd, however.
I also expect it has some features that haven't been announced yet, but that's just a guess.

What annoys me is how people who would never buy a monster hunter game anyway are so upset about it being on the 3ds instead of the Vita.
The only thing some of you seem to care about is watching the 3DS crash and burn, which is the last thing the game industry needs right now.

From what I've heard, it's more like the psp one with extras.

People also need to stop nit picking on the 3DS, since Nintendo has been working so hard on it.
How big a deal this is just depends on the individual, I guess.

Sony needs third party support, though.
As for the number of games coming out overall, they are actualy about even.

Probably what it would take you to buy something that dosen't have the name "Sony" on it.

JnR?What's that?

Yeah, but what I mean to say is when people walk down the game section of a store, they are not going to see Vita launch titles next to 3DS launch titles, they are going to see Vita launch titles against Nintendo first year titles. And with Monster Hunter releasing exactly one week before the Vita (in japan), the Nintendo lineup is on par, if not better, than the vita launch day games.

Selling power of Monster Hunter+ selling power of DS= Alot of sales.
Iwata said Tri G was being developed for 2 years, way before the media backlash against Nintendo.
When the 3DS trouble started, devs started to shy away, but Nintendo is working very hard to keep them in cooperation, which is why things have started to change.
Lets hope 3DS continues to do better.

Alot of them are EXTREMLY japanese, so I don't really think so...
The western launch may be similar in numbers, but not as much in content, I think.

What matters most in real time is the 3DS compared to the Vita on Dec. 17.
I can't count all of the 3DS titles out now plus the ones that will be released by then, but I know it's more than 26.
Also, the lineups seem about even to me.
Alot of ports and remakes, small piddly games, and sequels to big franchises make up both lineups in almost equal proportion.
PSVs lineup isn't better than the 3DS, just different. I wish people would accept this, ...
