Great should be no problem then. I loved the Mordor games and the Condemned games too. I'm also a fan of Wonder Woman.
They should look at Stellar Blade for ideas on how to make a great game with top tier combat and a female protagonist who is strong, capable and feminine.
Hopefully it does not turn out loaded with micro-transactions, GaaS, or 'modern gender politics'.
Nice. Wizard of Oz DLC incoming!
Finished it 3 times and just got the platinum. Amazing game.
Hopefully single player titles.
Yes. I love the open world Tenchu vibes. Also enjoyed the blade twin though would have liked to switch back and forth between them both throughout the game (obviously couldn't for story reasons).
Agreed.
I bought both but much preferred Ronin. Great game. Would be my GOTY so far if Stellar Blade hadn't come along and just completely blown everything else away.
Correct answer. Most people don't realise that the companies that are still making good games using common sense and a customer focus are generally not American. They are from Poland, Belgium, Japan, or other countries that have not yet become completely corrupted by 'extreme capitalism'.
Before you down vote me into oblivion I am not anti-american. I just don't like greed and corruption which unfortunately seems to correlate with power.
I...
@Chocoburger As I said you are correct and it is good advice but it is not going to happen. It's not how groups of people work. Greedy companies know that and it is why they continue to get away with this kind of thing.
That is good advice but not realistic for most people.
People are excited and have waited forever for a game they are not going to wait extra months or years voluntarily.
Publishers need to be held accountable. I think these kinds of things should be regulated to stop greedy and unethical MT practices but it won't happen.
You should care even if they are 'just' cosmetic. That is a ridiculous excuse that greedy companies use and people should not go along with it.
Cosmetics in games matter. They are one of the main rewards people strive for in many games, especially in a game with heavy customisation and role playing elements.
Yes, this kind of thing leaves a bad taste in one's mouth.
All this kind of thing does is make customers feel like they have been tricked and destroy any good will they had built up with fans.
Absolutely! Whoever is responsible for the MT's is damaging their reputation.
I don't want to feel like I have been deceived when I buy a new game.
I certainly don't want to feel like they have crafted a number of the games mechanics around MT's which is how it feels when you see these.
Yeah these are really bad ones. Directly impacting gameplay too. Super scummy move. I hope nobody buys them.
Hey, some people like to be punished.
To each their own ;)
@andy85 I think you are missing my point. I also played Forbidden West, great game. My point is that frame rate is not the most important thing. There are other far more important things when it comes to what makes a game compelling. That said, of course a stable/high frame rate is preferable, i'm not saying it is not.
If you look at Firebird360's comment you will see they indicated that performance should come before everything else. That is what I was commenting o...
COMPLETE deal breaker? Performance before all else? Are you insane?
Are you are saying you would rather play a boring poorly designed game with no innovation, janky controls, bugs, poor art design, GaaS, and a bunch of other issues as long as the frame rate is solid?
It's only an issue for the very sad. People boycotting a game because the frame rate doesn't meet their standards is peak nerd. There are plenty of amazing games with less than ideal frame rates, especially in previous generations.
Dreadwolf sounds cool but it sounds like Warhammer 40K Sci-fi. Veilguard sounds more fantasy. I think it's better. Maybe it will grow on you.
