Yep. Yoshida was responsible for bringing one of the best games of this generation to playstation (Stellar Blade). He is an actual gamer and is in touch with what gamers want (creative, fun games, not GaaS and agenda pushing). He also seems like a genuinely nice guy if you watch some interviews. Of course they got rid of him.

I know what you mean. I think it really feels like Vanquish, with some Dead Space and Binary Domain thrown in. So maybe more PS3 era but yes it is great.

I think the original Motorstorm was the game that convinced me to buy a ps3. Way ahead of its time.

The joys of an all digital future. It can only get worse from here.

It may be true. I play single player games only and there just aren't as many good ones now due to resources being allocated to GaaS and many new releases being ruined by 'modern' developers (e.g.new dragon age or Assassins Creed games). I ended up playing 300+ hours of Stellar Blade and 300+ hours of Dragons Dogma 2 instead of those other games.

Yep. Turns out if you make bloated grindfests filled with modern internet politics and microtransactions fewer people will play your games.

I hope it's great but won't hold my breath. From what I've seen i expect a pile of ugly, Dragon Age Veilguard-like garbage. I hope they prove me wrong.

Yep. Lumines electronic symphony was probably my most played game on the Vita.

Game pass is a terrible model overall. The long term strategy is to make everything digital and subscription based and then have complete control over the industry and charge whatever they want. Once they have completely extinguished physical copies and there is no alternative you will pay whatever they say and price increases will become an annual event. Just look at what has happened to the movie industry. How do you like paying for a dozen different subscriptions at a time, with prices co...

Love quirky Suda 51 and Grasshopper games. No interest at all in online only or multiplayer though.

They are owned by IGN now. I will let you draw your own conclusions.

+1 for the princess bride reference 😉

Yep. No sane developer wants to release a game around the same time as GTA. There may be a bit of a drought mid next year.

100% agree. Love Tenchu. Old School stealth at it's finest. Stealth Assassins FTW!

Day one buy for me. Best new ip released on PS5 so far. This developer has earned my trust. Will pre order without hesitation.

No character creation seems like a step back and a bit of a disappointment. Glad to hear the rest of the game plays well.

Excited for this. Getting some Killer is Dead vibes. Hoping they don't censor themselves in the misguided belief it will broaden appeal and sales. That's not why the fans buy these games.

That's one expensive lesson.

Good. Retains content as it should. Cutting content is senseless.

Sure they don't have to go to the site but to get to the description they already have to have clicked on it. Thus the term 'click bait'.
