Yes but possibly unlikely. The fact that it got made seems to indicate there are big issues. They need to hire people who actually like to play games and don't have weird agendas they are trying to push. Also, perhaps just try being less greedy and drop the whole GaaS idea.
This for me. I do not play online only games. I like to collect and re-play games and online games only work until they decide to shut them down. Hard pass.
Absolutely agree. Terrible character designs. Just ugly. I actually wonder if they were designed using AI or something? Even if they were someone had to approve them.
Yes but actually only one day before launch for anyone buying the Gold edition or higher. So pretty standard as people will be streaming the game as of the 27th.
@Jin_Sakai Yes but The Order is a far better game. Interesting how meta scores don't always mean much.
I also think The Evil Within and its sequel were amazing games. Not surprised MS dropped Tango though. MS doesn't generally do well with Japanese devs.
I agree but to be fair Sony should have done the same thing with Ready at Dawn and The Order.
I think they should stop wasting resources on f2p and online garbage and go back to making great games. None of Playstations big/classic games are online multilayer f2p focussed.
Online only games basically never last. Nothing new here.
Single player games have much longer legs and replayability over the long term.
Online games are essentially a rental until they lose popularity and are shut down.
It's really timeless. Put SOTC together with The Last Guardian and ICO and you have one amazing trilogy. I think Fumito Ueda is a genuine auteur.
Great game and I ended up preferring it over DD2. Took me 80hrs for a complete almost 100% playthrough. Open world Tenchu vibes the way I played it. Only complaints were no traditional NG+ option (just twilight missions like in Nioh/Wo Long), and graphics being a mixed bag (trees, some textures, draw distances).
I like the art style. A little concerned about how the story and tone might turn out as Sweet Baby Inc is involved in developing it. That seems like a bit of a red flag.

Agree. I don't mind if they do large Witcher 3 style expansions that represent good value but if it's an Assassins Creed style microtransaction fest that would be an issue.
Yep I agree. I think the visuals are great, they are stylised. Not sure who is writing these articles with the sweeping generalisations.
Looks like the main character from Control.
Definitely. Inquisition came out around the same time as The Witcher 3 from memory. Very excited for the new game. Just hoping it's not infected with the modern gaming issues (GaaS, SJW, etc).
Dreadwolf sounds cool but it sounds like Warhammer 40K Sci-fi. Veilguard sounds more fantasy. I think it's better. Maybe it will grow on you.
Great should be no problem then. I loved the Mordor games and the Condemned games too. I'm also a fan of Wonder Woman.
They should look at Stellar Blade for ideas on how to make a great game with top tier combat and a female protagonist who is strong, capable and feminine.
Hopefully it does not turn out loaded with micro-transactions, GaaS, or 'modern gender politics'.
Nice. Wizard of Oz DLC incoming!
That said the game is a lot of fun. The worlds are great to explore it's a bit like Ratchet and Clank meets the modern Tomb Raider games. There are graphical issues and a lack of polish in a bunch of areas but overall it is a lot of fun. Finding icon locations, speeding around Tatooine, meeting Jabba and other iconic characters.
Some creative fan service missions like: Mild Spoilers: Exploring the insides of a dead Sarlacc, Lot of fun to be had.
