Yeah I feel like Yoshida san has been one of Playstations greatest assets for a long time. He actually plays and likes games for starters. I think from memory he was also the one that got Stellar Blade on board.
Okay. I wasn't suggesting removing the challenge. It's just I would rather battle the monsters and not the convoluted and clunky controls.
Yeah that's what I was getting at. That seems to be the experience of many people trying to get into the series.
Just waiting for patch 8 to drop.
I like the concepts in MH (battle huge monsters, explore cool environments, customise your character), but I feel like it is a bit convoluted. The controls can feel odd and unintuitive, the combat is slow and clunky compared to other games, and there are a lot of different systems at play that can become confusing for new players. It can also be a real grind.
I think these barriers can all be overcome with enough time, practice, and patience but many people won't invest...
Look at her eyes. Look at her eyes. Ha ha ;)
I have 250+ hours on it. Stellar Blade is on the PS5 what Bloodborne was on the PS4 for me.
Yes Stellar Blade was easily GOTY. I would also love a sequel but the new IP is apparently aiming for a 2027 release window so I hate to think how long it might take before we see a Stellar Blade 2.
Yes Nioh 2 in particular is great. Also Wo Long (which is basically Nioh 3).
I've played all of these bar the Crab one so not a very accurate title.
I like your style.
Yes I think the game is good but it didn't have the same impact as the original when it released. The pacing is very slow, it takes forever to travel anywhere and then what do you know, microtransactions to fast travel. Really scummy move.
@raWfodog I mean that if I am forced to go all digital then I may as well swap to PC for the other benefits it provides.
I bought the physical version when it finally released and went on sale for half price (not paying full price for a game that is over a year old). Hoping to get to it soon. The original was great.
It lowered the cost for them to produce it that does not mean they pass that saving on to the consumer. More likely it just increases their profit margin. Possibly a cynical view but these greedy corporations are just out of control.
Agree. If there is no disc drive that will be the last nail in the coffin for me and I will finally make the switch to PC.
Oh no. There were already concerns about the lead voice actress and her activism, now this.
I love Ghost of Tsushima I really hope they don't ruin another game with immaterial gender politics and agenda pushing.
Yes I think 5mil Won is probably like a month's salary. Plus a PS Pro. Nice bonus.
Being from a collectivist culture they reward the group rather than just the individual. Should be the standard but unfortunately greed is too strong in most companies and only the CEO and upper management see any real profits.
Yes. Also Tenchu.
