Unfortunately this is another Sweet Baby Inc game, which sadly means that it will likely be subpar.
Killzone 2 was INSANE when it came out. The look/graphics were so far ahead of everything else at the time and the story and gameplay were top tier. It still looks better than a lot of games that release now.
True. The gaming industry is being pretty proactive in pioneering new forms of greed through the miracle of technology though.
Well said. I agree with you. While sometimes annoying I do find it interesting from a social psychology perspective, not just in relation to the gaming industry but in the world in general, as I think the phenomenon you are describing is more widespread.
Yeah I like Ciri as much as Geralt. They are both great characters and I'm happy to play as either.

I see a whole bunch of sequels but not a lot of originality/new IP. A bit underwhelming for me personally if I'm honest.
Unfortunately there are still some bugs. I have collected all the Stellar Tears but 3 disappeared from my inventory so I can't unlock everything in Emil's shop.
The photo mode is great. Some of the action shots you can take particularly during boss fights and when performing special attacks look spectacular.

Space Marine 2, Rise of the Ronin, Metaphor, Wu Kong, Silent Hill 2. There have been plenty of great games this year but nothing has wowed me like Stellar Blade.

Judge Dredd is awesome. An untapped goldmine as far as games and movies go. I like Dredd vs Death even though it was janky and low budget.
I am a huge fan of the original game. If you can't see the difference between it and the second game in terms of tone then I don't think I can explain it to you. But hey, I'll try.

They retconned the hero from the first game into a villain, kill him in sadistic fashion, then made you play half the game as an unlikeable, butch hypocrite with no charisma.
It wasn't clever or interesting it was tone deaf.
Would be interested but the Sweet Baby involvement/contamination is a major red flag.
Bioshock were great game(s).
This list is okay. There are many better games not listed. Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Shadow of the Colossus, and so on. All better than many of the games on this list.
We happy few was quite good. I loved the setting which was a blend of Brave New World and 1984.
This new games has SBI involvement so I will be passing on it.
