Absolutely needs a sequel.
Amazing setting, great characters, solid gameplay/gunplay, still almost unmatched graphics, great art design, interesting story (though incomplete). I have completed it twice in the past and will play it again at some stage.
A patch to remove the letterboxing/black bars like they did for The Evil Within would be great.
I think a big new, must play, ip would help.
Original Xbox had halo.
Xbox360 had Gears.
X1 hasnt got one so far.
@indysurfn Yep and that's fine but more and more f2p pricing models being jammed into full price retail console/pc games with more and more content locked behind additional paywalls.
See Injustice 2 for example. To unlock all the in game costumes you MUST spend more money on microtransactions to buy source crystals, as they can only be earned in very limited amounts via gameplay. This is AFTER you have already paid full retail price for the game. Even the 'season pa...
Yep. Greed will always win. It's human nature. Unfortunately these companies have found a market that can be easily exploited for big profits. Unlikely to change anytime soon.
Yes me too. Though on the other hand it's nice not to have any more of the game spoiled.
I like this developers games and have high hopes for Vampyr. Have had it on radar since it was announced. Please don't dissapoint me Dontnod.
Yes l'm with you. I discovered the fighting fantasy books when I was 12 or 13 at a friends. Read/played The Warlock of Firetop Mountain many times, then a buch of others.
Have always liked choose your own adventure style books and games.
Yep. I'm not sure why these obvious click bait titles are approved?
Yes.
Vampire the masquerade also needs a reboot. Though Bloodlines still holds up pretty well for it's age.
Me too. Love Quantic Dream's games.
Great article too. AI is definitely a potential threat. Interesting stuff.
Conan the Barbarian could have a great game made set in it's universe if someone at the calibur of CDprojekt or Santa Monica developed it.
Wait until later in the game, just when you think you have the combat figured out, it just keeps adding layers and it is almost overwhelmingly complex. Not a complaint, it's great, but it is definitely no button masher.
This is actually a really well balanced and well written review. Plus really good at staying spoiler free. I agree on nearly every point it brings up.
This game is definitely something you do not want to miss out on.
That tattoo guy right? Great start.
The good news. I'm a lot further in and the game just continues to go from strength to strength continually getting better and better. It's kind of overwhelming.
I now see where all these 10/10 reviews are coming from.
By the power of Greyskull!
He-Man and Skeletor DLC for Injustice 3?
Yeah they need to let Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture start making proper games again(read: not f2p).
I would still like to see Lily Bergamo come to fruition.
Do you mean the original Assassin's Creed? If so yes, great trailer with really cool music.
The original infamous had a great trailer too(also with cool music).
What about Cyperpunk 2077 announcement(CGI) trailer? Awesome.
Or the Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer with the Monkey on the hoverbike.
Any trailer for the Witcher 3.
The Mortal Kombat 'System of a down' trailer.
...
So he loves God of War but probably won't finish it? Reminds me of this quote from Zoolander.
Hansel: One of my heroes I guess would be Sting. I mean, I don't listen to any of his music, but I really respect that he's making it.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be cool. Unless you actually want to raid some tombs. That will cost you $40 extra for the 'ultimate edition (read: full game).
