Not sure who did the voice acting but Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom (massively overlooked game) had terrible voice acting for the talking animals in the game.
Definitely. The graphics and setting of The Order are still top shelf. A sequel would be so good.
American McGee. I would absolutely love to see him finish his Alice trilogy. Alice The Madness Returns was one of the most underrated games of the PS3/360 generation.
Darren Sugg. Fortnite is a plague that people would be better off without.
Fumito Ueda. Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian all have his distictive style stamped on them and are unique gems.
Halo/master chief. I never got into those games despite playing a few of them and my friends raving about them.
Not sure why but I have always disliked the generic space commando painted green. Not saying they are bad games, but I never found the art design or characters appealing (though I do like some of the enemy designs)
Lara Croft. An iconic character that has seen various interpretations. I probably liked her Underworld design best, straddling the line between the more classic cartoony look and realism nicely.
I dig the Indiana Jones vibes and though not as well written as some other characters in her genre (I'm looking at you Mr Drake), she is certainly easy on the eyes.
Story driven choice based games seem like they could include far more freedom and branches. Consequences for actions are often talked up but rarely deliver. Detroit was good but I think this is an idea that could be built upon.
More options to truly build your own story and take the plot in drastically different directions rather than just seeing scenes play out slightly differently but ultimately end up with a similar conclusion.
3rd person action adventure games. The Witcher 3, The Last of Us, Bloodborne, Resident Evil 4, Ninja Theory's games, Tenchu, God of War, DMC, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Jak and Dax, Ratchet, and so on.
A fairly broad 'genre' but these games often involve elements of traversal, platforming, steath, combat, story, and rpg progression and customisation.
So 3rd person action/adventure it is.
Nice!
And it managed it without endless dlc, microtransactions, lootboxes etc. Makes the victory even sweeter. Bring on the Sequel.
It does lool good but it's hard to get excited as this will take exploitation of it's customers to the next level.
Wish it wasn't so but it will wait and see. Season passes, cut 'Kontent', paywalls, and loot boxes, incoming.
Wow easiest question ever. Microtransactions, paywalls, lootboxes, exploitative dlc, and 'season passes'.
So basically all the dodgy practices that have become commonplace. Unfortunately these issues have already ruined one genre.
Fighting games like Injustice, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Street Fighter, and DOA have all been marred by these issues to an extent that even though I love fighters I will no longer by them until they hit the b...
Interactivity between characters and environments. Clothing and armour taking damage, characters getting scratched or showing damage more, enemies showing more realistic damage, and being able to interact with environments rather than just moving th rough them.
I would say photo modes in games. I love them and spent so much time in Horizon Zero Dawn just taking and editing photos.
It's a great option for those who like photography, like to share pics of their games online, or just to pause the game and let you zoom the camera around and take in all the little details. Many big releases have this option now to an extent where I miss it when it's not there.
Lair on the ps3. Amazing concept, great pre release cgi trailers, but ultimately too ambitious for its time and just technically broken.
Could be great if someone rebooted the concept with current tech and gameplay though.
The original GOW easily had the strongest story though. 2 and 3 while great in their own ways did not have the same care paid to story. The reboot luckily went back to a story focus again, just like the original.
Yep in my top 10 of all time. The prologue alone, insane.
Such a tough question!
Tenchu, Beyond Good and Evil, Shadow of the Colossus, The Witcher 3, I could probably do a top 100 list without breaking a sweat.
That said I will say Bloodborne. I easily put 300+ hrs into it and I love everything from the gothic horror atmosphere to the subtle storytelling.
The combat system is deep and so well refined for those who delve into it. The game really provides a sense of mastery and achievement for t...
Would be nice to have ng+ too.
Mark Hamill. Just love his version of the Joker in particular, though he does a pretty great Wolverine too.
