I love Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture's games(Lollipop chainsaw, Shadow of the damned, and Killer is Dead). Such a waste of their talent having them make f2p games. They should go back to making Lilly Bergamo.

Mine too. Though I realise it's subjective MGS4 is easily my favourite entry in the series.
The perfect game for a PS4 remaster too as technical limitations(2 installations, frequent loading) were it's main flaw and can now be remedied.
2B would be a fantastic match.
I am also hoping to see an expanded character creation system as it is always fun.
I'm just concerned they may follow the current fighting game trend and load the game with microtransactions, paywalls, and exorbitant DLC. I really hope not because I want to buy this game day 1.
It is awesome, as long as it is not paid DLC that is.
The list is very subjective and being twinfinite it takes 100 clicks to get through it.
SPOILERS:
Having Gehrman near the top of the list is a joke. He is probably my favourite boss fight of the entire game, especially with the epic music and setting with the flowers, moon, etc. That said he is comparatively easy once you know how to counter, which one should have figured out by this point in the game.
Ludwig is insane especially to solo. In fact I don't think I can beat him solo from memory and I have completed the game a lot of times. People who don't find him hard are generally using co-op I think.
Ebrietas is absolutely the toughest boss in the main game(outside of chalices and DLC). It is not even debatable.
Yep it was a clever story in many ways. I really liked the justification for something as absurd as robot dinosaurs running around. They actually came up with a reasonable and kind of touching reason for it. Really cool.
You are right it has plenty of little flaws and annoyances but what it does right by far outweighs them. I almost gave up on the game and returned it at first but am glad I persevered.
There is a very steep learning curve to truly get into the game. I don't think it hit it's stride until 10-15 hrs in for me. Then something clicked and now I love it. Absolutely not for casual gamers though.
I'm a big fan of Soul Calibur and will buy it day 1.
Unless they load it with microtransactions, season passes, and content locked behind a paywall. If so then it's a pass, and I may pick it up in a bargain bin in a couple of years time.
I would have bought a pure Marvel fighter. Not interested in crossovers, unless it's marvel Vs DC.

The good news. I'm a lot further in and the game just continues to go from strength to strength continually getting better and better. It's kind of overwhelming.
I now see where all these 10/10 reviews are coming from.
