A rose by any other name smells just as sweet ;)
This has been on my radar since it was announced. Love the look of the game.
Bloodborne meets Tenchu. Sounds like my perfect Sunday.
Yep the Zach Snyder Dawn of the Dead remake starts out with a very creepy zombie kid scene and also includes a zombie baby. It's nothing new.
When 'Journalists' bring these things up it sounds like they are trying hard to be offended.
You're right, there is no issue here.
People should however be worrying about the ridiculously greedy dlc. A season pass that costs more than the actual game, and I'm sure it's only the fist of many. This series is now a pass for me based off the exploitative dlc model alone.
I've not quite finished it but I can see this being a 9. A little uneven perhaps with some areas being outstanding and others maybe lacking in polish but overall I am really enjoying the game.
Phenomonal looking at times and the world building and atmosphere are top shelf. That said, yes there are valid critisisms that can be levelled at the game. Overall though, a breath of fresh air among a tide of grindy, online, loot shooters packed full of microtransactions and lo...
I thought the core of Starbreeze were at MachineGames now?
9/10 so far for me. I' only 12 or so hours in but it is a series best for me. Got a very Wolfenstein: The New Colossus vibe from the section I just finished. Graphics are next level.
I would say it is easily the best in the series from what I have played thus far. Granted I have not finished it yet but 9/10 so far and just amazing looking.
Free to play. That's an automatic pass for me.
Yep great news. I'm just worried about things I am hearing about microtransactions in DMC5.
That's the kind of thing that may prevent me buying it even though I have been a fan since the original on ps2 which was pretty mind blowing at the time of release.
Yep. There is only one way to clear the air regarding microtransactions.
"Our game does not include them".
I have no problem with the zombies and the infected animals are a great idea.
Not so keen on the biker theme though. Main protagonist looks pretty seedy. Will wait and see though.
Exactly.
That is some quality reductionist reasoning by the author of this article right there.
Because PC master race. This article is stealth trolling. "Should WE aspire for photorealism ON CONSOLES"?
Should WE? Who are the WE this guy is referring to? On CONSOLES? Subtly inferring consoles are inferior.
In terms of processong power of course they are, but show me Bloodborne, The Last of Us, or God of War on PC.
Who said there aren't any silly questions?
Funny. All this stuff would have been unlockable when the original RE2 released. Now it's a paid extra. Thanks technology.
Standard twinfinite slideshow. Save yourself a click.
Indeed. Bloodborne is another great example of environmental storytelling.
That said, at the other end of the spectrum The Last of Us shows how great storytelling can really elevate a game.
Both styles are valid when done well.
There is clearly a heavy Judge Dredd influence too from what has been shown so far.
Suits me as I loved those comics growing up.
The issue like with most things is just greed. These companies are making plenty of money, recoring record profits, and overpaying their executives and CEOs while laying off people who actually work. Unfortunately greed is a persistent problem and is running rampant currently so I'm not sure there are any realistic solutions here.
