Chris can't see there ARE tabs at the top and clicking PS3 gives you PS3 news, X360 gives you X360 news...wow nice concept there and so tough to figure out. He takes the time to complain about it on a total of FOUR comments and says its a waste of his time...wow.

Show me proof of that statement or were you just trying to be funny. The developers are very interested in PS3, its been in several articles. Its on the X360 because its a prelude to Gears of War 2 which MS bought as an exclusive. I think that Epic and MS have been a great team but they have made statements about working with Sony also and what they think ...
I have complained to VG but they don't seem to care...or reply lol. Even with them under tracking PS3 for the entire month of 01/08 and over tracking X360 for the same month according to NPD, they are close at least.
Oh and the US numbers are in there as well as the Japan numbers, at least they are on VG as of today, PS3 outsold X360 worldwide by 48k for the week. Grats Sony on another good week. Yes Wii fans won again, outsold PS3 WW by 59k for the same week.

I agree that putting the topic in multiple places is bad. I agree this could go in industry but I also feel it could go in PS3 news because its a big milestone for PS3. The PS3 zone shouldn't be only about games, but that's just my opinion. I overall agree with the majority of what you typed. Bubbles to you!

I had a full answer for you, but then realized you aren't worth it. I applaud your freedom on here as I support my own. Anyway, to each their own.
This is not JUST a game site. Sales do matter in the big picture. There is a tech category, a GDC08 one, mobile, industry....wow lots of categories. Don't pigeonhole the site just because you only want to read about games. Making this site or any others only what YOU want isn't the approach either IMO.
The mods are doing a great job, they deleted a LOT of comments on this thread alone, and the topic was a massacre waiting to happen. I don't always agree with the admins but ...
I agree 100% with you. I think the X360 is a good console, several friends of mine have one. I personally just have my own feelings against MS and unlike what some people feel they are founded in research I did on them for one of my college business ethics classes. No I am not saying they are evil, I just don't like their business model, regardless of whether it is successful or not. I like competition in the console market, it keeps everyone working hard to put out great games.

They are both "present" in 3 markets, don't blame Sony for selling in Japan when MS can't. If MS didn't have any consoles in Japan and stated they don't want to be there your argument could stand true, but MS is there AND the press releases when they rolled X360 out said that they were going to be bigger in Japan and work on that market. You claim they are only in 2 markets yet its because they failed in Japan no matter the reason.

The prices should come down soon and there are already some Blu sales going on. Amazon had one recently if I recall and JR.com has some good Blu prices like $12 for Fifth Element on Blu.
