First off you work for "a" not "an" major electronic chain, secondly they said SOME retailers, you work for one and there are a lot of others. I can't say whether the story is true or false but the fact that you work at a single chain among hundreds if not millions doesn't make you the authority on it being true or false.
Yet I have to ask Wageslave...highest revenue? Guess you meant DS, then Wii, then PS2, then PSP, then PS3 then OH yeah X360 (for the last 2 weeks, prior to that flip X360 and PS3 around week to week), since that is what sales show. Not sure how X360 is the highest revenue there???
Wageslave you say for this game the score is good but unless a PS3 game scores above 9 you call it a dismal waste of time???
I personally feel its a good enough overall score to merit a rent and possibly a purchase but that low story score scares me a lot, that is a huge part of the genre. I would still say its a good game probably and I am not a fan of the X360. I also think some PS3 games that scored in the "8" range are good also, its called being open minded.
The zones are actually just for the responses, gamer versus open. Each section of the site (including things like tech, industry, and gaming) has a "gamer zone" and "open zone". Easy enough mistake to make but just a heads up.
The X360 are not the New York GIANTS because the Giants are World Champs unlike the X360. You might be able to compare the X360 to the Oakland Raiders...but not the Giants. Yeah its a joke, just I am a Giants fan and hated the comparison lol.

The article itself is bad I agree, but the gamer zone is actually on topic for the most part on this one, just a bad topic. As a PS3 fan even I admit it was a bad article to post, like offering a bottle of vodka to an alcoholic. If it had been the other way around the same results would have happened but with X360 people posting things about PS3.

Its a situation where I think they got lazy in the end by making it multiplat personally. No I am not saying it was PS3's OR X360's fault but the developer's. Different companies are going to take different approaches when they multiplat 2 systems that are pretty different. I know the extreme fans will want to make something of it but <shrug> its just my guess.

The article is being called biased because they are the ONLY site to say the load times are only a second different when every other site that talks about the game says the PS3 load times are 3X faster.
Along the top of the website we have these little tabs, and one of them includes tech, dev, etc...this is not JUST a console site. I support Google in this. They are my main page and I use Firefox, but to each his own I say.

I appreciate your intelligent post Talvish, but you mention import exclusives for X360 but failed to mention any on PS3, in fact you only listed a FEW of Sony's upcoming slate for 2008. Just to be fair there are a lot more than the ones you listed.

If you are going to "police" the gamer zone then call out your X buddy friends too that started the mess up above...XGamer, Tommie, and Wageslave (even though the first post by wageslave was actually a pretty decent even I have to admit). All 3 of those mentioned Sony in this "X360 thread" before anyone else did, yet you only call out the Sony fans. I agree who you called out could go over to the other thread but they are not the only ones.

I think some will slip to the Wii but I think a majority (guessing around 65 to 70 percent will stick with Sony and go PS3, but its all guessing from anyone at this point). The reason I don't think that many will defect to the Wii is because many of the Wii games are PS2 ports, why buy a system to just play the same games over again?
I do agree with you though in that some of the PS2 fans will defect to Wii.
