It's sad that Activision can't go 1 year without a new call of duty game, just delay the thing a year - whats so hard about that? If they do they'll get 2 better call of duty games the years after.
32 player?? that sucks go back to 16 players the socom sweet spot - it's hard to get communication going besides the loudmouths talking in those games.
Sony probably has the email address attached to the account and it's probably one that he uses, I don't think they'd base it simply on the alias.
Selling Xbox360s to people that won't buy the kind of games you buy, thus really mean nothing to publishers in the grand scheme of things. It only helps the 'consoles sold' number which everyone knows is poor representation anyways due to the RROD.
If the hackers win, the days of console makers selling hardware at a loss are likely to be over, and we'll be a generation behind technologically every time a new console releases. No company will invest and sell at a loss if they can't avoid piracy that will destroy their means to regain money lost from the start.
I'm not sure that the hackers making these hacks make their identity known like the failoverflow crew and geohot, so it's hard to sue.
Do all hackers think of these guys as legends, or as dumb hackers dumb enough to use their real names in pursuit of fame? It sounds like that's what Geohot wanted, he wanted to be king hacker. If you're really doing what you're doing for the common good, then why deliberately try to seek credit?
Probably not a smart move for Sony, they can now count on future hardware versions being hacked more quickly. They're not going to recover any financial losses from the individuals; only lose millions in the process.
Not everyone, as a lot of these guys are young. They might actually stop immediately because they soon realize that they won't have much a future doing anything if they continue what they're doing. I have a hard time believing all hackers are outlaws, especially ones that make their name public.
Seriously The Fight is the move's killer app.. I've shown it to quite a few people, most people think its awesome. There is something seriously wrong with the reviews for the game, either the reviewers are all way out of shape or worse they're corrupt - not to mention it's only $40. This game was crucial to the Move's success, there's no hardcore games like this on kinect; it got dogged to help kinect out.
Free-to-Play model = Give rich people a much better game than me - no thanks EA; good luck with that not everyone's going to be on board..screw you.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just staying lets turn that around and take Microsoft's 30mil down.
lets break down what it includes for xbox live users:
- people on the original xbox that may not or may not have 360s that signed up to play on xbox1 to play online.
- Xbox360 owners that play online
- Xbox360 owners that dont play online
- people that dont have a 360 but signed up on the Official Xbox Forum (the only...
It's just that anyone can easily make multiple accounts on xbox live too, so shouldn't MS's numbers be closer to 60mil?
"There's no comparison" - yea actually there are many, if you go look for them. That's like saying 'It just is cause I said so'
Most people don't have multiple accounts, they may just have one per person that plays the PS3, which would be the same on the 360, as there might be one gold account - other people might use silver. The majority wouldn't know about getting demos from other regions, or bother with trying.
You would have a hard time acquiring studios if the talent in them didn't want to work for you and ended up ditching out on you. (Bungie, Rare)
I got one for Christmas it's pretty cool, but realistically - are we going to see anything besides on rails, fitness ,and dance games? Dance central is pretty cool for parties, but if you're a guy how long are you really going to play it alone? For only having 3 genres I see it as something that won't last once those 3 game types are overdone.
And yes children of eden looks like an 'on rails' game, so does panzer dragon.
I don't think you realize that they're still in the hole from PS3. I'd hardly call it greedy, they've given hardware away at a loss in record amounts this gen - I'm sorry to hear about your console breaking down and having a bad PSN game (I can assure you most people don't have these problems); it's more like keeping the PlayStation brand alive so they can have a PS4, and we don't all have to buy Xbox LIVE for a $100 a year next gen.
I always detect that hackers want systems to be heavily pirated so hopefully their favorite developers will go back to creating PC exclusive games that push the latest video cards.
You have to think ID Software is imagining what they could of done with Rage with 50GB to use. But no, Microsoft said 2 disks.
