The argument always was that the security stuff was in the middle so it was just eliminating the slow-read access data in the middle. They've added 1gb of data, but it will also be accessible at a much slower rate than the rest of the disk, and slower than a blu ray quite a bit too.

by 'better use of color' you probably mean a more dynamic range of colors. This is most likely actually due to an upgrade to the engine. Designers don't necessarily chose to use bland colors, It's just a trade off done to get more performance most of the time.

Black Ops, OSDT, and Assasins Creed 2 all had 'Review Events', and all games scored well, no surprise.
Halo 2, Bioshock, Halo 3, Gears of War 2, MGS4, GTA4, Halo 3 ODST, Assasin's Creed 2, Call of Duty MW2, Call of Duty Black Ops, and now Bulletstorm, and Crisis 2 all held 'Review Events'. Every last game is overrated out of those if you ask me, and sequels ride the coatails of previous high scores.

MS doesn't pay everyone off, EA does. Activision does, MS does with the exception of reach(bungie invented the damn thing with halo2), Ubisoft does, rockstar has, 2k has, and Konami has. Sony hasn't. Square enix hasn't. Capcom Hasn't. Sega Hasn't.

Cysis 2 is being compared to killzone 3, which has full co op throughout the campaign - seems hardly fair. It makes me wonder how far they could have pushed Killzone 3 if they didn't need to incorporate move support and 3d, and ditched the co op mode.

You must not get OPM in the mail like I do, there was a pretty good chance of it at least matching KZ3, they score multi-platorm games perfect all the time. Black ops got a 10/10. GT5 got an 8/10.

Just cause U2 and LBP are critically acclaimed, they must not have a biased perspective against the PS3? There are a ton of high-quality PS3 exclusives, just because they make a small exemption for two games doesn't mean they aren't biased - even Edge gave those two games good scores.

The value tends to go down when a new version of the same game comes out frequently, it's like buying an old sports game. Why would you buy 3 now, with 4 coming out this fall?

I had no idea how the concept was supposed to work well on this game. It didn't seem to be open world, which is an MMO's strength usually. That must not be good for the people that have been working on this game forever, to never have it released, and then get sacked.
