Might be okay - I left Trails of Cold Steel in the same situation and it came back up so I can save, quit then install the update.

If it does, I hope it has motion controls. One of the best things about the Call of Duty games on the Wii U was the fact you could use the Wiimotes almost as a mouse controller to help you aim fast and accurately. I'm not sure how accurate the Joycons can be with only the accelerometer to guide them though.

I don't like the term 'Shovelware' as it's almost an insult at developers, regardless of the quality of their game. However, the Switch storefront is full of mobile ports which I find rather annoying and distracting. Have you ever tried to casually browse for something new on the Switch itself? It's a sea of direct ports from mobiles with the odd gem here and there.

This is why the system has about 4k games on it now, more than the PS4 and the Xbox, it ...

Didn't realise this wasn't on Xbox. I really enjoyed it on the PS4 (with its PSVR mode). I only played it in flat mode for a short while, it's a lot better when fully immersed.

Can't wait to try out Sonic. Already got Borderlands though.

Kyle, sounds like you're stalking me as that's the same pathetic phrase someone else said yesterday over on Twitter. What's wrong? Got a crush on me or something? It's flattering but you're not my type - maybe stop stalking me and go finish the five-hour narrative game then put out a real review for it?

Also no, I'm not a journalist and I don't pretend to be one, unlike you, I just run a website for reviewing games. A least we abide by embargos ...

It should be like it is in most places - if the product is faulty or doesn't meet the advertised standard (i.e. the trailer on the store page, or the description is misleading - I've seen many list that they have subtitles and certain languages yet the actual game doesn't, for example) then fair enough.

If it's a case of, "I just don't like it", then that shouldn't be allowed. I know Steam and Xbox let you return a game if you've played...

It’s Activision, so may be on Battle.Net

The problem is, if the disorder is officially recognised then they have to make some adjustments otherwise the consoles could get banned in some countries. I’m sur you’d rather be able to buy the next console than finding out you can’t legally obtain one

All they need to do is what Nintendo does, put a disclaimer up saying you should take a break every now and again, and maybe have it pop up a similar message after a few hours of continuous play. That will cover them as it’s advising you what to do.

They’ll never forcefully stop you playing or restrict your time allowed. That’s something parents can already set up in the parental settings, but nobody bothers. With the switch I think you can do it remotely with the app.

Then you can download and play the remastered port of the game - you'll get the nostalgia for the original game and the ability to run it on modern hardware.

Look at Resident Evil 2 - should that have stuck to the locked camera angles and clunky controls, or was the remaster a better game because they improved everything from the visuals to the core gameplay mechanics?

Having an identical copy of a game but with better visuals is pointless if we'r...

It’s a great game, we reviewed it yesterday too on PS4. Has everything you’d expect from Bloober Team. I’m not a horror fan but I loved Observer, so I played this one too and I was hooked. The story is a bit iffy as I couldn’t really follow it (may be me), but the action and the way the devs mess with your head, shifting and changing the environment around you, is awesome.

No, it will turn away the stubborn ‘fans’ who won’t understand that if they want to play the original then they can buy the remastered port, and experience a modern remake with this versions; and it’ll make new fans who like the look of it and want to play a modern JRPG with updated mechanics and, most likely, a more feature-rich story and experience.

There are bound to be the purists who refuse to believe the game can be remade into something new, but if they aren’t willin...

Old news... I blocked you lot because you’re all very aggressive and the other guy blocked me first. Also, fair enough about RAGE, it obv hadn’t synced when I looked, but what about observation? You played less than an hour of a 5 hour narrative game, then decided to review it.

Not gonna argue with you, because you’re not worth my time, just don’t think the publisher would be happy if they knew people were judging their game without playing it all first.

Although I agree with the people who did the positive votes due to Ubisoft's payment to help after the disaster, I don't agree with Valve doing this. They seem to need better management, people who can actually make a decision and stick with it. It's clear the positive reviews were a 'bomb' so they too should have been removed. Otherwise, it's sending out a message that anything negative will be removed but positive for the site, valve and the publishers are fine, even...

How is it a port? They have added new content and even a brand new character. That's not a port - a port is a direct 1:1 copy. The graphics have been updated, the visuals more refined, and more content - thus, enhanced remaster...

Yeah, it really surprised me. I saw the teaser last year and I thought it was going to be like Tacoma or The Station, where you're the protagonist walking around and investigating things - I've not followed the game since as I wanted it to be a surprise. The visual effects and the story are great.

Supposedly, one of the devs in NoCode worked on Alien Isolation, which is probably why it has a really strong feeling of familiarity. I'm gonna jump back in and try a...

I've played the game from beginning to end. Completed it yesterday morning. Those images are all from the first 30 mins or so of the game. Go look at his profile on PSNProfiles - he has three trophies - I achieved those three within 45 minutes. I completed the game at around five hours playtime.

So, how am I 'very wrong'... Trophies don't lie.

Anyway, just pointing out that it's almost as bad as the Plague Tale review another site did ...

Seriously... This is the guy who played around six hours of RAGE 2 (without even completing all the story missions) then pushed out a quick review before the embargo, now the same guy has played less than an hour of this game (based on his trophies) and gave it a 6.5/10...

I've lost all respect for Pure Playstation. they really need to consider their stance on how much someone should play a game before they review it... Considering it's a five-hour game, I don't...

Haha. Our Reviewer loves the series, but just like with the previous collection, he reviewed based on the collection as well as the games. Other than the great ebook and a few visual options, the games are literally Roms in an emulator.
