i'm not defending anything, but we were nly given PS5 review codes yesterday as it needed the day one patch to allow us to play it - so this person has clearly rushed through this review to get it out fast so it can please Metacritic (they favour sites that get reviews up on launch or for the embargo)

At the most, they played about 10 hours if they bought it themselves physically. If they got it from Bethesda, the review went up around 5-6 hours after codes were distrib...

There's no rumour - it's as another person in here said, she's a 'yes woman', saying yes to everyone/thing and trying to look like she cares about a division she has literally no interest or experience in.

As for the exclusives, the CEO of MS won't allow that - he's even been vocal about not wanting any exclusives in the gaming division. Even the studios have said they're happy now they can put their games on multiple platforms, plus 'sal...

Yeah, no it won't... They clearly don't have permission from Plaion, THQ Nordic, or Embracer to legally use the lgog they stole, the IP name, or any ofhte in-game assets, maps, and designs they also stole/ripped off. As soon as the legal department see's they're planning on 'releasing' this game created around stolen assets, they'll be shut down instantly.

Why do people still continue to rip-off established IP they have no rights to? Create a new...

Can't stand this guy - he always seems to have some sort of hate agenda against anything Sony puts out.

Anyway - the most annoying thing about this video is how he moans over and over again about the drop in SSD size back to the original amount, almost as if he wishes Sony would have revised the console but added an additional $50 to keep the additional space (which they probably would have had to do by using two SSD modules that have gone up in price over three smaller...

Xbox gamers - don't get your hopes up that they'll actually release the game on Xbox consoles. Not a single Postal game has been approved in the past - RWS tried to get Postal 4 on the console and MS/Xbox flat-out refused to let it launch, despite the game being finished and ready to go. Postal Redux also isn't on there, neither is the fairly recent arena-like fps game.

So yeah, I don't think Postal 2 will actually get approved - something they really should...

The Chief Legal Officer and Chief Financial Officer... so people who can (and will) be easily replaced within days, and not people who are vital to the game that actually developed and produced it

Two. You get two upgrades - Both Zelda games. Which, if you pay for them, cost £7.99 each. So, if you're not bothered about the online aspect, buying the two upgrades is much cheaper

No. all Switch 1 games run at their programmed resolutions in both modes - so pretty much every game will be a max of 720p in portable and 1080p in docked. The only exception in portable, which I can think of, is Hyrule Warriors - as that was running at 1080p in portable, which is why the framerates were a bit iffy

Yeah, but the Portal doesn't claim to be HDR enabled. The guy isn't that disappointed with the screen in general, it's more he's not happy with the 'HDR' claim as it only hits 400-450nits - this is technically HDR, but it's right at the lowest specs (you really need 1,000+ nits to truly see the benefits of HDR)

How is it clickbait when it's just repeating what a specalist said? He has the tools, experience and knowledge of HDR as he professionally tests displays all the time. Regardless of if you disagree with him or not, the screen has a max brightness of around 400-450 nits, which is a lot less than modern phones. Basically, it's 'fake' HDR in portable mode as it can't get bright enough.

Even in docked mode, most games aren't outputting HDR correctly

Your ignorance and hypocrisy knows no bounds...

2k started the $70 increase, not Sony

Why would they wait until AFTER Doom? They'll do it just before, as they know people will pay to subscribe to play the game - just like how they always remove the $1 offer just before a big title launches

"Nintendo should tell them no..." - who do you think came up with the Key Card concept and decided to only release these tiny carts and much more expensive 64GB carts?

Why has this rubbish been approved? Genshin Impact didn't have any Sony-backed exclusivity. The developers chose to focus on PC, mobile and PS, because that's where the audience was for that type of game in both eastern and western regions. Xbox didn't make sense as it would have cost them more than they would have made back, and it would have taken devs away from working on updates to the game.

Stray may have been a timed exclusive, but Xbox has also had timed ...

'If' this happens, you can bet that Sony will either pull all their games from Steam (whilst demanding Valve makes it impossible to even launch them on the new console), or they'll tell Valve to just block them from being played on the device.

I highly doubt they'll sit back and let them bring out a console that plays their games. I imagine they may also need to gain licenses and permission before making the games playable on the device as publishers have on...

"Despite previously suggesting Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth missed its sales goals on PlayStation 5, the game has enjoyed a very strong launch on Steam PC so far."

I'm sorry, the PS5 version sold over 2m copies, the PC version has apparently sold less than 500k (not including the hundreds of thousands illegally downloaded cracked versions). So, how does the article statement make sense?

Also, FF7R wasn't a 'flop', it was profitable ...

okay... I must have missed the videos that showed the gimped Xbox Series version looking and running better than the PC version as I recall it being clearly better on PC

why pay for more? preservation. The majority of AAA games on Xbox are practically useless if you don't have the internet or servers go down as they can't fit the entire game on the disc. With PS, you can get up to 100GB on the disc, so most games fit on there just fine and don't require a download.

Also, let's not forget that EVERY Xbox Series game that's 'Smart Delivery' isn't even on the disc at all - the disc only has the Xbox One version ...

Is anyone surprised that a developer who received a large lump-sum from MS for day-one GP is saying nice things about the service? It's almost as if part of the agreement they sign is to only say positive things when asked
