It is, I quickly became addicted to it as I love progress-based little games like this. It's so simple in concept - get to the end without running out of fuel or hitting an obstacle, but each new run means you're buying new upgrades which let you get a little bit further.
Well, unless you're me and increasing your power means you regularly go flying too fast in smash your car into the ceiling or miss a ramp as you come down and land right in a pit!
We've known about this since the day the game was announced and crossplay was announced for the other platforms. It's not really a deal-breaker as I don't know anyone playing the game via cross-play on other platforms.
depends how you twist the words they said. Yeah, it’ll cover Xbox, 360, and Xbone games, but only the ones in the BC program. Sure, Xbone may be Native (if it isn’t then that’s crap), but the 360 and Xbox games will be the same batch you see now, they won’t magically create a hardware emulation for all the games on all three platforms.
Now, Sony probably won’t get PS3 working, unless they make a really good emulation app that can emulate the system (like we see in the PSNow...
It was a pre rendered in-engine cutscene running on a PC. Pretty much CGI as it’s closer to that than actual gameplay. Just look at any game that uses this mechanic, crackdown 3 and fighting games like MK come to mind. The cutscenes look much better because they are a vertical slice or pre rendered with more effects than when you’re actually in control.
Also, the halo cutscene we saw wasn’t that good, the animations were stiff, the skin textures looked like a Barrie doll, a...
And there was a load of censorship during the Xbox e3 event with swearing bleeped out. I doubt that’ll be in the final products though. Maybe ask CDPR for clarification or wait for release to see if the game has been affected?
Looking forward to grabbing this on psvr in a few weeks
Why have they done a mock up (as it is, you can tell from the sub-par images) without the share/screenshot button?
Because they legally can't. They have a signed deal with the publisher which they must complete, otherwise face heavy financial penalties. However, I guess the OP is saying that once the current games are done, expect to see smaller games. Just look at the difference between Hellblade and the MP garbage they recently announced.
That'll be incredibly hard and almost impossible unless they build their own studio over there - Japanese laws are very strict and usually don't allow foreign businesses to buy them out and own them.
Just wondering, were the mobile devices actually connecting to the data centres? MS (and other companies) have been known to ‘trick’ people at E3, let’s not forget showing PC footage of The Witcher 3 and pretending it’s on Xbox, using PS4 footage of Watch_Dogs and claiming it’s Xbox, Stating all demos were on the X a few years back when they really had PCs locked in the cabinet below them, etc...
I’m just wondering, could they have simply set up a bunch of local Xbox consol...
I’ve played about 4 hours today, it’s not bad. I love the humour and the overall writing with its many references and nods at pop culture. The combat isn’t an aspect I like too much though. Hoping to get a little further over the next few days :)
The Astro controller looks good but it’s america only, which is why I couldn’t get one for review. That on let’s you literally move the buttons and sticks around into your perfect orientation. I don’t know what the programmability or if you can use the customisations wirelessly though.
I just love this controller because you can invert the y-axis if the game doesn’t allow you too.
I imagine it’ll be a situation like Metro. Give it a year exclusivity, which means it will eventually come to steam, so they can distribute steam copies to the backers.
I guess they’re probably worried that if they do that, Steam keys will end up being sold for silly money on eBay.
I’ve not used the elite but I do have a first edition NACON controller. I’d say the resistance feels the same on both versions, but it doesn’t feel loose to me, they feel a little less resistive than the DS4 (I have the model 2 of the original controller) but I’ve had no issues with tight gameplay in a variety of genres.
Also, the swappable thumb stick shafts reduces the stick movement, should you wish to use them, as well as fully customisable sensitivity and dead zones v...
I don’t know. It’s a bit annoying because games that use the speaker can’t anymore and you can’t use this within VR. It does still have a light bar LED on the front, for the in-game bar colours, just none on the back. I imagine it’s either to save battery or it’s something third party controllers can’t replicate.
Also, they are touted as ‘pro’ controllers and marketed at pro gamers more than the standard gamer, so more battery and features in replacement of the two DS4 fea...
There's another controller they're sending me. Pretty much the DS4 style and size, but offset sticks. Will be interesting to see if I prefer that over the DS4.
@343 - how? Play your own PS4 on almostvany device wherever you want in the world. The only limited factor is its not on general android devices, it's on everything else though.
@tk-66 remote play can be achieved on PSTV, PS Vita, PC, Xperia devices and iOS devices. It's pretty much the same people that can play X cloud, albeit with support for the vita and PSTV as well. I imagine full android support will come soon as well.
Also, why are you talking about remote play and psnow as if they're the same thing? They're not. Remote play is MS free option - play on any device by streaming your own PS4 system, psnow is paying to play a selecti...
You need better lines mate, the ones you’re using are pathetic. Should we talk about all the thing you object to on Social Media? Do you want me to dig into it and start doing what you’re doing, posting lies and slander on everything you post? I don’t think I can go that low though, it just shows you have no life and are rather sad. Pathetic uneducated bully.
Who cares? By the sounds of it, they were two consenting individuals, both of legal age, and it only said they were 'dating', not being sexually intimate with each other.
I don't get why everyone in the comments on here, and over on the site, seems to have an issue with this? Just because you wouldn't date someone older than X years difference, why should everyone follow your ideals? If you don't like dating another race, such as black, white, Asian or &...
