Isn’t a parody where you take a piece of work then intentionally exaggerate and alter things so it’s the same but in a more comedic fashion? If so, how Is the game a parody of anything?
@Literal_Cringe - I know the VR modes don’t perform any better, but the game is now rendering two viewpoints at a time, if it didn’t have some sort of extra boost. You’d be looking at sub 20fps in Zelda and around 40fps in Mario. So it had to bump it a little. However, it doesn’t seem like it’s changed anything because you’re comparing VR to non VR modes :)
It’s not... the boost is in 2 games and helps with the poor ‘VR’ modes and loading times. If it was running any higher all the time, the device would get hot and it would die really fast if not docked. Also, even if it has the same clock speed as the other consoles, it’ll never be ‘as fast’ as it’s totally different architecture. It’s also got a weak GPU in comparison.
Clock speeds mean nothing as the processors are completely different. Even at the same clock speed, the switch wouldn’t perform anywhere near the base Xbox one, never mind the PS4
Yeah, that was the first negative I put in the review. Technically, you can get the PC collection for very cheap - the first game (this one) is free on indie gala and about 70p on Steam at the moment. A price of 15.99, like all other consoles versions, would have been more acceptable.
However, if you only own a Switch and want to play a high quality and fun point and click game, this is a really good game. Just a silly price.
I highly doubt Xbox has ‘millions of subscribers’. It’s most likely PR talk for MS as they have nothing to back that up with. The revenue chart showed a breakdown of the various services based on revenue. MS has been practically giving the service away at a dollar for a month so I imagine a lot of people have been making new accounts and getting the one dollar offer month after month, each one counting as a new ‘subscriber’.
You can’t really believe any figures MS puts out ...
Twitter are claiming something similar, as they are giving away 5 copies given to them from PlayStation. So the review is supposedly biased. I know the reviewer so I don’t think that’s the case, but it’s possible
Gotta admit, Slant are pretty crap the And shouldn’t be on Meta. They gave Sekiro a 4/10 and a few other highly praised games also got 2-4/10 scores for the clicks. All their input does is bring down the actual average of the games they decide to write about
Erm, you don’t pay metacritic to be on their site. We’re in the process of getting on there and no payments at all have been made
And? Just don’t pay then, unlock her the normal way. I’m sure I got her when I finished the 5 hour story, maybe you’re someone who doesn’t want to play the story and just wants the character? Who knows...
Terrible list of reasons, but it was written before the reveal so a lot of it is based on the sites biased agenda and speculation. They also seem to forget that a standard Xbox one S can do everything the SAD can do, only more. The points about the console breaking if you shove a cookie into the drive or if the drive breaks, are also silly. if the drive breaks, the S becomes a SAD - so what's the benefit there?
I feel the SAD will be an okay second console for younger ...
And? If he broke the trend of service then they have the rights to do that. I don't see the issue
Doesn't say it on the UK site - probably showing the wrong info as I've seen a lot of games display the wrong info on there because the team publishing the listing have put incorrect info on it.
@MadMax - "Darksiders for switch looks just the same as the ps4 pro version and thats with the 4k patch."
You could have had a decent comment if you didn't throw in that pathetic statement...
Darksiders on the switch is 1080 and 720 at 30fps (which is really stuttery and feels jerky, despite it hitting 30fps, due to it's pacing). The PS4 Pro is 2160p at 60fps or 1080p at 60fps on the base system, with a locked 60fps for smooth gameplay.

@Gemmol - I've add it on Ps4 and vita since day one, not played it for a while though. I never recall ever thinking it looked stretched on the PS4 though, it looked right. Also, 720 isn't much of a jump over the vita, plus who knows if that is the resolution it plays at in hand held mode? Until someone pixel counts, it could be lower.
Just saying, the switch isn't the 'best' place to play, it's just another place to play. The 'best' is down t...
It's more portable, has trophies, cross-play between PS Vita and PS4, and visually won't look much different to the Switch as it's a smaller screen and resolution, yet the game plays at the native res of the device.
The Switch is another place to play it, but it isn't the 'best', that's all based on peoples opinion.
Yeah, but the Vita version also lets you suspend play and pick it back up whenever you want, as does the PS4 version. Plus, doesn't the Vita and PS4 versions have cross-save, so you can finish on the vita and pick up on the PS4 - sure, it's 2 purchases, but it's cheaper than the Switch version.
You also say the Switch version on TV looks better than the PS4 version? Isn't the PS4 108op and the switch around 900p? I doubt it'll be at the same level of qu...
So, your pretend friend won't want to move to a platform which has the odd one or two adjusted images which you most likely won't get in English anywhere else anyways, including on the Xbox which doesn't allow any of these games anyway. Why? Will his miss things which he currently doesn't have access to or the desire to play (seeing as they are an Xbox gamer and haven't had access to any of these games previously anyway)?
Don't be silly.

People keep bringing up MS in this debate yet they refused to comment and these types of games aren't on their platform... The most probable reason is that MS has a similar list of rules on their side as well, only Sony is in the spotlight because they have allowed them until now whereas others may not have allowed them at all.
Three words, Terms of Service. If you don’t read the terms before you agree to it then you’re buggered. The terms of all platforms is that if you break any of the rules, and are found guilty, then you lose access to your account - thus any games you’ve bought on that account. The guy would have had access to offline versions of the games he had downloaded, unless if he was sharing his account with others and it wasn’t set as a primary account.
Even physical games, get your...
