Update - a patch came out on Saturday so we’ve updated the review (the score wasn’t affected). All bugs and glitches experienced earlier in the week have now been resolved, even the creepy humans!
Whoever posted this news, they did it purposely to spark hate and anger at the publisher. They missed out the big part which is that they were celebrating woman’s equality day by having the first day as a showcase for female streamers, Sunday and Monday are both male and female streamers showing it off.
But, that but was missed out of the post above.
Why? A trans male is a man. A trans female is a woman who wasn’t born as a woman. So why would someone who has had surgery and lives their life as a man be offended by you calling them a man?
Unless your saying the people who are easily offended will come out and state they aren’t a man because of how they were born? Nah, I don’t think you meant that...
Maybe if you weren’t so ignorant, you’d know that it actually exists and is in November...
@SurgicalMenace - google it. It’s a real day/event. Guess what, there’s even a Men’s equality day later this year...
Just to make it clear (not read the comments on here yet but I can guess what they’re going to be), as a celebration of Women’s Equality Day (a real thing, look it up), they had a few female streamers play the game yesterday. Today and tomorrow they had both male and female streamers showcasing the early parts of the game.
It’s not a personal attack on anyone’s gender or any kinda of hidden agenda, it was using an actual event as a means to show the game a little early.

@OpenGL - well, it does in some cases - https://www.extremetech.com...
On consoles we probably don’t see the impact because the output image most likely always renders both HDR and SDR, showing whichever your device supports. Rather than showing either or and not rendering the alternative.
As I said before though, the amount of physics ba...
Oh, were they talking about PC? Thought they were on about consoles? I imagine on Pc it'll run as well as your GPU and CPU combo will allow it - unless there are any frame caps in place (which I don't think there is)
It’s not bland and there’s tonnes of physic-based effects as debris and items fly around during combat. I’m sure the current gen consoles are struggling to keep a stable framerate at 30 and no HDR...
Doubtful, they have a big publisher and plenty of money from previous projects. I imagine it’s performance related as the game is very heavy on the physics, so HDR on all the debris and effects would tank the framerates on consoles
“And the player follows the NPCs, observes it all with awe, absorbs this extraordinary atmosphere of futuristic decay... but all this walking, watching and absorbing takes much more time than gameplay proper.”
So, what I get from that is the person who wrote the article doesn’t understand what an RPG is? Maybe they don’t understand that CDPR delivers great narrative-based experiences with deep world and lore for you to engage and emmers yourself within? Maybe the writer is ...
It seems even Xbox execs are confusing Xcloud and GamesPass - not just publications and websites, great...
First of all, no; you won't ever see Xbox GamesPass on either the Switch or the PlayStation - there's no reasonable argument you can have which makes it sound like an attractive deal to either party:
1. If you're paying MS for the service then it means you're not buying the same games (as GP is just a rental service of 3rd party and a...
Yeah, destroyed by someone who pretty much just admitted they’re under 16 years old and can’t comprehend English and reason. Well done. But no, you never ‘destroyed’ anyone, you just showed your true colours as a delusional Xbox fanboy who cries whenever anyone disputes the fake information you spout. When you finish school and grow up a little, maybe you’ll learn how to have conversations without talking in broken sentences, calling people ‘Curtain’ fanboys and you’ll actually understand wha...

I was wondering "who was looking for PC info for Death Stranding"? then I saw it was from PCGamer - makes sense :P
I doubt you'll get any info on that until at least 6-9 months after the PS4 release
@Zeegamereh - "There’s no way you’re over 18" - you're the one calling me a "curtain fanboy", which, I imagine, is a fan of a certain type of curtain? Maybe lace drapes or those flowery net curtains, but not blinds?
Seriously though, I'm having some difficulty thinking how to respond to you, you're clearly either not English, a very young and immature brat, or maybe not all there mentally - as such, I don't want to offend any of the above...
As long as the 'fanbase' treats the situation like adults and raises concerns in a civilised manner, I agree. However, should people start threatening the studios, constantly swearing and abusing the individual people, and getting out their pitchforks in hopes of causing crap all over twitter (as I saw with Wolfenstein and their MTs which didn't impact the game at all), then the devs can do what they want.
The reason most people retaliate and abuse the developer...
to be fair, the only revenue they'll get from the game on PC is via Steam as everyone who doesn't care about the storefront will just pick up a cheap GamePass and play it there, giving the developer's pennies instead of a decent amount of revenue.
They owned a timed publishing deal on the console side. Nobody knows how long the deal lasts for but considering it came out about five years ago, it probably won't have long left. Hover, deals like that usually don't cover sequels, spin-offs or re-releases if there is new content. They could add a few new missions or DLC-like items to the package and rebrand it as the definitive edition and that would be allowed on the PS4.
Don’t feel it’s being marketed as anything though. The publisher did something to celebrate the day, with regular mixed-streams taking place the day after. All they were saying was the streams were introducing you to Jesse because they were the first official streams, not ones from people who got the game early.
There no hidden agenda or things to read between the lines in the marketing
