If they put this and Chrono Cross up on PSN I can finally retire my PSOne game disks.

I'll be sad, because I've held onto them, RE 2, MGS, Soul Reaver, FF VII and VIII for years. Occasionally popping them out for a romp of nostalgia. But I will be infinitely happy that I will be able to have them all on my PSP.

Watching the "Birth of the Beast" video in God of War I gave me an intriguing idea:

Kratos' brother looks awfully like Lucifer in that final shot. He's even in a pit of fire. Now, I know Kratos' story is done, but it'd be wild if Kratos somehow became the single God of Judeo-Christian belief. Like he absorbed the powers of the Greek gods and set himself up in "Heaven" on the ruins of Olympus.

The old testament after all is about a vengeful and a...

Can we just get freaking Psi Ops 2 please?

Wow. This one creeped under the radar--at least in terms of hype.

Crysis 2 PC >>>>>>>&a mp;g t;> KZ2

Unfortunately, those are console screenshots of Crysis 2. I've seen them in the Playstation: TOM feature. So, just because it's called "Crysis" doesn't mean it's the end all be all of console graphics.

US IGN Review:

"by Chris Roper

March 8, 2010 - After three years of development and three very long years of waiting, the end is finally upon us. God of War III marks the finale to Kratos' search for revenge and properly caps off a trilogy that ranks near the very top of the best action games ever list. Yes indeed, everything does come to a complete and decisive close by the end, and though it may not be the last that we've seen of the franchi...

^^^

It's not just the same score. It's the EXACT same review. Copy and paste job.

Is the review from IGN UK ? Because if you go to the US site, it's the exact same review.

Same reviewer, same content, same everything.

As someone who loves the poem, I really dug Dante's Inferno. Despite the liberties the game takes with the source material. But it was still cool to see a truly visual represenation of the poem (esp one that matched my own visualization). And the gameplay, while GOW-lite and extremely shallow, did enough to keep my interest until the end.

I look forward to the sequels - Purgatory and Paradise- and whatever improvements are made. Although, I'm fully expecting them to deviate grea...

If they do remake it, it'll probably be a handheld version. Either a DS version that looks like the other FF remakes. Or a straight port to the PSP (not like the PSOne classic but on an actual UMD or two). Less time to make and the rewards being greater--especially in Japan.

SE has shown that they can't resist a quick buck on remakes. Even more so ones that don't take a lot of effort. So if a FFVII remake is announced do not be surprised if it's for handhelds only.

"Sources from the meeting indicate that Kotick, upon finishing his talk, began to systematically reap the souls of Infinity Ward's employees. Much like the Grim Reaper or possibily Lucifer itself.

Afterward, Kotick siphoned the souls into some sort of jar, leveled the building and was last seen walking towards the offices of Treyarch mumbling something about "bi-monthly COD titles" and "they won't rock the boat."

We'll have more as this sto...

So an unsubstantiated rumor huh?

Does this mean that IF it's not fixed in 3 hours, will we see a flood of articles saying that Sony lied about it being fixed in that time?

5837d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

"a lot of misinformation out there."

Like saying the "death of the PSN?"

Cause I could have sworn I was on PSN this morning on my Slim and on my PSP last night? Weird.

Wow. I didn't realize I was fluent in Jabba the Huttese. But I understood that perfectly.

5837d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Because people are trying to turn this into Sony's "RROD" moment.

That's why you get 9000 articles on this and one's claiming that it's "bricking" PS3s.

Haha. I was thinking the exact same thing.

It's because Final Fantasy is a "big name" game. Nothing more.

Unless there are glaringly obvious difference--frame rate issues, screen tearing, etc--big name reviewers aren't going to go out of their way to give different scores to high profile multi plats.

And it'll get the same score on both platforms.

Now if it were the other way around...that'd be a different story
