Yes. That's exactly right.
Feel better?
Regardless of what Sony shows, the game media will declare Ninetendo the "winner" of E3 based on the power of nostalgia alone.
I think it's odd that Nintendo is releasing all these big titles this year. Particularly this "holiday season." That's several heavy hitters within a short time frame.
Not complaining, but it leads me to believe that this is the last year for the current Wii. So they are backloading all these big titles as a way to end their current console cycle. I wouldn't be surprised if at the Tokyo Game Show, Nintendo reveals it's new console set to release nex...
Its probably so the Natal camera can pick up the player.
Notice how the 360 fanboys don't add anything relevant to a topic?
Let's see..
Insomniac:
1 New IP and 1 multiplat game deal
Bungie:
New IP and 10 year multiplat game deal
Not really damage control. They've been saying this since the announcement that GTA IV was going multiplat from day 1.
And your point?
You do realize that Splinter Cell was released in April.
While God of War III was released in March and sold 1.1 million
I preferred WAW too.
But the grenade spamming on Veteran made some of the later levels near unplayable.
My 60gig and MGS 4 80gig are both PS2 backwards compatible.
What's interesting is that, regardless of the game's quality, people will still buy it for the co-op. And all this will do is tell Capcom that "Hey, the game might be of poor quality but if we add co-op people will buy."
Assuming it's reviewed well by MSNBC, I wonder if Kotaku will write an article on why to not listen to a Microsoft owned website singing the praises of an exclusive title to a MS Console..
Probably not.

OT: the game looks good.
60gb launch console and 80gb MGS 4 bundle console-- all working perfectly.
I know what was being said. But, like most 3rd party titles there is always a possibility that it'd come--despite what was being thrown out there by fanboys and developers. At one point, Bioshock was "absolutely NOT coming to the PS3." 2K even said that it "wasn't some ploy." And look how that turned out.
Same thing with GTA IV DLC. And too many other titles to mention.
No. It'll still suck and be a shadow of what it was. Nothing will change that.
So you can move along now.
Is anyone really surprised at this point?
I'd hope that after playing the same demo 25 times you'd know the routine of the guards and be able to run through it without getting spotted.
Now post a video of your first, second or third playthrough.
Because the score IS NOT an average. IGN has NEVER used an average score. Although it would make sense to do so.
So basically, the game could get 10s all the way down but the final score could be an 8.
I loved this:
"His father, Chad Willis, also has strong views on Microsoft’s decision stating, “This just confirms my resolve in making sure that my family and friends are aware of the collusion, albeit veiled, between Microsoft and the current occupant of the White House.”
Tin-foil hatters of the world UNITE!
Also, World Net Daily? Really?
This is the same site that began the "birther" movement and then subsequently dropp...
I hope they have the actual Pit in this game. And not the Pit/Pit 2 hybrid that is shown in the trailer. But it's a minor complaint in an otherwise awesome first look.
