Correct. And?
Glad to see him in the game. But his presence makes little sense.
He's supposed to be the original Sub-Zero. Killed after the first MK tournament. But the Sub-Zero in the game, which is a reboot of the series going back to MK 1 through MK 3, is apparently the younger brother.
Does that mean it's going to reveal that the original Sub-Zero was killed before the first tournament? And that his younger brother was in MK 1?
Looking forwar...
No. That was made up by people when the bionic armed Jax was revealed prior to the release of MK3.
His bio in MK3 states that he had the arms outfitted with bionic implants in preparation of Shao Khan's invasion. Meaning his flesh arms are still there, but are covered with a metallic "skin."
It's the one thing the awful MK: Annihilation seemed to get right.
How'd he survive survive the first trailer? Which ended with a similar massive explosion?
Besides. It's Batman. He. Always. Survives.
uh oh..Batman's gonna be maaad.
Prediction:
Liu Kang will NOT be the MK champion in this reboot.
Since the whole premise of the game, according the the first trailer, was that Raiden (post Armageddon version) went back in time to the first MK tournament to prevent all the events leading to Armageddon from happening, he'll prevent Liu from winning.
So who'll be the champion? Probably Scorpion--since his character was built up in later games as being the "Champi...

What Ive learned from history is that...things change.
I bet no one saw Sony taking the console crown from Nintendo with the PS1. Especially since the NES and SNES were the dominate consoles for nearly a decade.
Same goes with how the Wii ended the reign of the era of Sony. PS1 and PS2, the dominant console of their days. Leaving others in the dust only to be dethroned by the very company they beat years ago.
No reign lasts forever. So as se...
Exactly. Sony removed it in response to what Geo was trying to do--very publicly I might add-- with the system in terms of using the OtherOS open up the system.
They way they are wording it, at least according to this article, is that Sony just arbitrarily decided to remove it.
But claiming that this was a "core feature" of the PS3 is intellectually dishonest on the part of this law group. It was an optional feature, nothing more..
Umm..it's been determined that vgchartz' numbers for the ps3 are historically misleading. Namely in understating the total number of units sold. Only after official numbers, i.e. NPD, Media Create and Famistsu, are the numbers corrected.
So those bashing vghchartz, or "PS3 trolls" as you call them, already accept that vgchartz' numbers are wrong on the whole.
Wow. Didn't realize that you held the end all be all on what constitutes a best seller. It's an honor to be in your presence. I'm humbled.
But going by your logic, Kinect hasn't sold nearly as well as I expected. I expected like 1 billion in the first 24hrs.
We had a rush on them this morning at the Best Buy i work at. Sold 20 units and bundles. But 90% of the people who bought them were women who "saw it on Oprah." Two of them didn't know you had to have the 360 as well...The rest were parent's getting them as Christmas gifts for kids.
We had the Kinectimals game in the kiosk, but it seemed to frustrate the kids trying to play it, so we put in Kinect Adventures.
Let's see.
First it was "Not enough exclusive content to justify PS + price"
Now its, "Having a beta exclusive to PS + isn't fair"
Fun times.
This one has lightsaber dismemberment. But they can't show that in a mass-media trailer. It's gotta be able to run on television. Which means violence is toned down.
Read some of the dev-diaries on the game.
I'd have preferred the Pit to resemble it's MK 1/MK: Shaolin Monks incarnation rather than being the Pit 2 with spikes, but oh well.
How about just not buying the remakes?
Well Sega released the Saturn in a sneak launch.
But yeah, it's probably a mistake.
And it won't matter to their customers who have a 4gb and the general public (i.e. non-game site visitors). If my theory turns out to be true (I hope not), expect a "MS HDD sales explode" article in the future.
I actually talked someone out of buying the 4gb console and Halo (dude was trying to save money and saw this as a cheaper buy) by letting him know this. Told him to just get the bundle.
I can see it now:
The official MS Fix: "20% off HDDs for proof of purchase of Halo: Reach (must have those receipts) beginning next week and lasting until Sept. 24."
