And yet there was a 40% rise in total 2008 sales.
Isn't Gamesradar the same site that said the level design was bad because they got lost in the "fairly linear levels"?
Everyone knows you have to watch out for those fundamentalist Islamic Chinese Communists--I hear they are a problem in those factories in CHINA WHERE THESE TOYS ARE MADE!
God people are paranoid.
"xpect more games to be 360 and pc only "
Until they come to the PS3 with more content.
There was a preview of this game in the new Game Informer...I remember looking at the screen shots and thinking "wow, that looks a lot like Halo."
Yeah cause "MSXbox-world.com" screams Sony fansite...
If only that kid would have bought Nascar 2009 I would have a ton of witty responses.
Except that it does matter. At the very least it sets a bad precedent by letting companies know how far they can push consumers before they are willing to take action (so far there has been no real repercussions for MS and no real action taken).
All they have to do is placate you with something shiny (games, warranty, etc) and you're happy.
Hmm..so reviving the "PS3 is doomed" articles from 2006-2007 in the wake of November and December 2009 sales data (never mind the fact that global numbers went up 40% over 2007) is now accompanied by the "Sony failed on it's promises" drivel of the same era.
Any day now we're bound to see the "Sony has no games" articles cropping up.
God I hope they change their mind on a Western release. And if they do, that it comes to the US a lot quicker than Yakuza 2
I can say that this article is 100% accurate.
I was playing Eternal Sonata earlier today and found myself suddenly shooting up heroin and dropping acid while smoking pot and mixing Jack, Hieneken and Crown.
What they forgot to mention is that video games also make you lie and commit adultery--just like the Super Devil's jar of preserves.
I enjoyed my short time with it on PC. But it was missing something. Not sure what though.
Im not even a big fan of MMORPGs but the next few years have Star Trek Online, DC Universe, and KOTOR Online...exciting.

And they are still hoping to release this on the 360?
That makes no sense if they are closing half of their servers.
Except that MGS 4 passed 4 million sales in Nov. 2008 sales while Gears 2 just passed 4 million this month.
So..who's outselling what now?
Wipeout HD for the PS3 is 1080p-60fps
Gran Turismo Prologue is 1080p-60fps and, as of June 2008, has sold over 2.5 million copies.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is 1080p-60fps and has sold over 1 million copies.
As far as my time with the Wii, the last game I played all the way through on the system (and the only game that is mine--my wife has a few games) is Zelda.
Sony's losses are only US$2.2 billion. The $3.38 billion is AUD$. Since Fox is reporting in US$ then that's the correct comparison.
I really don't understand WHY the Wii is where it is (I have theories though), but I can say for certainty that next-gen Nintendo will not be where they are now. The novelty of the Wii-mote and the interactivity offered by the Wii is pretty much it until full VR. Unless they decide to go FULL HD, then I do not see where the next Wii can innovate.
But I could be wrong. If this gen has taught me anything it is that consumers are dumb.
Before this gets plastered on the front page (you know it will), this is AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS not Yen.
Congrats LPB.

I hope Capcom and co. know what they are doing with the Lost Planet movie cause with a budget that size and their (supposed) full or majority funding of the flick they cannot afford a flop.
No. Dead Rising is about a Photo Journalist getting trapped in a mall taking pictures (which isn't in the game) for a magazine and surviving a whole town of undead (which can't be done on the Wii) for three days uncovering why things are the way they are.
The "picking up and using everything as a weapon" is the everyman aspect of being trapped in a mall overwhelmed by hundreds of zombies and not being the stereotypical hero who carries a myriad of guns. It's not the po...
