Sony was 1 year late to the market. The 8800GTX launched at the same time the PS3 did. Till date there isnt a game that the PS3(RSX + Cell) can beat the 8800GTX + any low end dual core cpu. Which simply proves GPU is the key component. However no point telling this ...

As a Pc gamer all i gotta say is have fun paying more for less. Just like usual paying 10usd - 20usd more per game then receiving a lesser copy lol.
PS3 games are designed with controller in mind even if Sony did make a mouse/kb for PS3 they wont be recoding the game, which is why it will feel laggy when playing with this.

Why would want to dumb down another perfectly good franchise.
In order to bring present day Total war to the PS3 or Xbox 360, they would have to strip the game down considerably. There is just too much going on at one time to fit this on console.

Mods are uncertain on consoles because console makers and developers like to keep control over the games they sell.
They dont like it if a games life can be extended. This only compromises sales of the next game.

GT5 also doesnt have a lot happening, racing games in general have very static environments. Also the graphics on GT5 are very average. Which is why its capable of running at 1280*1080, which is nothing impressive imo.

sorry but i played Gears of war 1 on PC and wasnt impressed. While console exclusives are hyped corridor shooters at best.
People seem to forget consoles may initially cost cheaper however, games on console tend to cost alot more then PC versions and often stay at higher prices for longer periods of time.
Even if someone was to get a 1000usd PC in a matter of 2-3 years it will turn out to be cheaper. Hell 1-2 Steam discounts is all thats needed. Lets not forget PC doesnt only play games it does alot mroe then that.

Any SP game can be speed run and be butchered in a matter of hours. The question is why would you want to do that? you wont enjoy the game that way, what a waste of money.
