I'd rather have an install than have to bother taking care of two discs, especially since HD installs tend to reduce load times.
Thanks for ruining the game for me, jerk. Haha...
Perhaps, but the music composed for the game didn't feel as epic to me, so I can't exactly disagree with his score.
Talk about excessive titling.
... frankly, they're not diversifying. They pulling their eggs from one basket and putting them in another. I had no problems with DMC4 going multi-plat, considering what it could do for the company, but this... seems counterproductive.
When it really comes down to it, though, I'm fed up with sequels from Squeenix. One new franchise in this long of time?
Fiscal calendars don't agree with normal Julian calendars, particularly when comparing regions like 'Fall.' I don't think M$ is in denial at all: all they're worried about is getting that stuff out before the holiday rush.
Good read.
He only mentioned two things that are missing from CivRev: the ability to manage a city's population manually (aside from that over-simplified dropdown menu) and the ability to use workers to manipulate the surrounding land. Neither of those two things are in the demo... so what is wrong? The fact that he didn't think it lived up to Civ 4?
It's fun, but it's not nearly as fun as a full Civ game.
There's seriously nothing better than playing a good horror game in the dark with the sound turned up.
Sony chose to use Bluetooth for chat, and to get a good headset with that tech, you need to spend a little cash. A cheapy USB headset wouldn't cut it for me.
There are plenty of companies who are fine with releasing one version before the other. Look how long Bethesda took to release Oblivion on the PS3, or how long PS3 owners need to wait for Bioshock.
Talk about grasping at straws. I have no doubt that he peeked his head in from time to time, like any good manager, but that doesn't mean he got his hand dirty enough to know what the PS3 is capable of. Hell, it's rare for any producer to do any sort of engineering: they're the business/creative types.
I don't claim to know how Team Ninja runs their studio, but there's been nothing to show Itagaki's familiarity with the PS3's hardware and plenty to show he doesn't know anythin...
Itagaki had absolutely nothing to do with the development of Sigma. He seems to consider it a bastard child and pawned the responsibility on someone else; he has absolutely no experience with the PS3.
...at the end of the article and ask there. I can already see the answer:"Both versions will be graphically identical, because we don't want to be on the receiving end of gunfire from raging fanboys."
This game will be awesome on a stick.
I loved Oblivion, but found so many tiny flaws that pulled me out of that experience. It sounds like they've learned a few important lessons... I just hope the voice cast is larger than 13.
That looks like one of those Logitech knockoffs for PCs, so maybe it means PC peripheral sales are dropping... lol.
What hype did the PSN ever have? People expected it to be sub-par, and on that note, it delivered. It's been perpetually in the shadow of Xbox Live, which has expanded the opportunities of consoles but missed the mark with a number of choices, including the Xbox Arcade model.
Yeah, I was surprised to hear that as well. It irks me when good games like these are isolated from such a large population of gamers.
Yeah, I gotta get a new HD for my PS3. That piddly 20Gb isn't cutting it anymore.
