Shooting the dinos was surprisingly satisfying, as is sniping people with that bow. I'll probably get this.

I'll blame the devs, thank you very much. It's great that Microsoft builds that sort of stuff into their console's OS, but when games are coming out with custom soundtracks and older games are getting custom soundtracks through patches, I feel content believing that the devs decided not to put them in. I blame Sony for not making it stupidly easy for devs to make this stuff happen, but it obviously isn't their fault that no one is taking advantage of something people obviously want.

...is one of the biggest software makers in the world, and they can't switch some data from one server to another? Honestly, this shouldn't even be an issue. I can think of several good ways for Microsoft to migrate his account, even if it's not built into the system (like it should be). I understand that changing the billing information is a bit more tricky, but I can't fathom why creating a clone account would be terribly difficult.

Oh well.

I'd be sorely disappointed if Sony needed to resort to that. It won't take that much.

I can't wait to see the final release.

If it were coming out next month, we'd know a whole lot more than we do now. I hope you're right, but I really doubt GDC will be it.

... is that several games offer that functionality individually (*cough* Resistance), so I'm really wondering what the hold-up is for other games to join the parade. Who knows, maybe Insomniac is a house full of geniuses who know how to hack the XMB...

In a perfect world, they'd release this update alongside the release of Home... though I'm sick of holding my breath on that one, lol.

Your article was one of scores that attempt to draw a conclusion from poor information (you could very well have talked with someone in Konami, but it wasn't reliable). TGR did the same, but talked with the same people as Kotaku... and *surprise* got the same answer.

Call TGR's article fake, but it has more credibility than yours. 'Nuff said.

The music industry is scrambling to get new technology under their thumbs, and since it isn't working, they're throwing a litigation hissy-fit. It's sad.

Squeenix is great at milking franchises until there's no market left. I wish they'd offer real "next-gen" remakes for the big consoles, not these handheld ports.

... but they need to market themselves more. Perhaps they're holding off until they have a solid lineup TO market, but this holiday season is gonna see them far behind again without some solid information passed through TV.

Love this vid, though it wouldn't do too well as a commercial.

These overpriced accessories are starting to overrun the market, and if it continues, the casual market will continue to run to Nintendo's open arms. It's especially frustrating after hearing that the Rock Band guitar doesn't work with GH3... but that will probably need a pricey accessory, too.

...but the way each and every 360 game has a collection of them certainly makes it the highlight of what the system offers consumers. Even the shortest of games receive hours of additional replays from average players (imagine how much more people would have loved Heavenly Sword if there was more to unlock than videos and combos?) and from a developers perspective, it's time well spent.

Talk bad all you want about the 360 and the RROD, MS points, and laggy p2p networking: MS...
