Somehow Dead Rising 2 fell off my radar. I need to put that on the buy list.
I thought PS3 was 3 years old nearly 6 months ago. Either way, it's been a fantastic ride so far. A bit of a slow start, but Sony has more than made up for it in the last year. Here's to another 3 years of awesome fun!
I hope so. I've really been aching for a game that's simple and just plain fun.
I paid $500 for my PS3. That software feature certainly was not free.
I'm over the loss and I've updated my PS3 to the latest firmware. But Lucreto, I'm a bit tired of people like you who think I should be grateful for a dozen features Sony added that I never use and just roll over and shut up about the loss of one feature that I did use. You guys will never get it.
I'm happy for The Force Unleashed, and I'm gonna let it finish, but the Battlefront and Jedi Knight games are my favorite Star Wars games ever.
The article was lame.
Nice! I'd love some more Assassin's Creed!
I found the article to be very interesting. Sitting about 1 meter from my laptop screen I couldn't tell the difference between the crosses, but I could certainly tell the difference between the lines with jaggies. I see a lot of PC folks saying that it is easy to tell the difference between 1080p and 720p. I guess when you spend so much time half a meter away from the display you can tell the difference. In terms of video games and HD televisions the author's points are valid I think....
I'll be getting RDR and ModNation, too. This is a great month!
I agree completely. As long as multiplat devs continue to shoot for the middle it isn't going to matter where development starts. Besides, most of these guys are putting their effort into multi-platform engines, so neither platform is really the lead.
I believe that the PS3 has shown what it is capable of. As far as the lead platform for multiplats, as long as the developers are striving for mediocrity it isn't going to matter what platform is in the lead. I'm looking at you, Activision. I'm looking at you, EA. If one platform truly is more powerful, then do what you did last generation and make a superior version. If the games are good the sales will come.
For exclusives this isn't an issue. In the last 18...
Agreed. Those are two of the games I'm most looking forward to. Add in Red Dead Revolver and I'll be happy for weeks to come.
It wouldn't surprise me. Sony has some serious momentum with the exclusives right now. But it really doesn't matter to me as I already own both a PS3 and a 360. I'm just happy to know that both have a sufficient user base to ensure a steady stream of new games in the months to come.
The title is a bit misleading and people who didn't read the article are, as always, the ones flaming the hardest. But that's ok. It wouldn't be N4G if they didn't.
Bring it on! I'm really looking forward to this one!
I used to own at After Burner. I wonder if this is as fun as that used to be?
That's a fantastic price! I just bought a laptop from Dell that netted me a $25 Dell gift card. I was wondering how I would ever be able to use it, so I guess that now I know.
Looks like the marketing machine is ramping up for Move. I really hope to see Sony back this with some marketing. At least more than they put into Playstation Eye when it released. I think Move is going to be big and Sony has a chance to really shine with it.
I enjoyed Sands of Time. I'd love more gameplay like that! Hopefully this delivers and doesn't turn out to be just another movie game.
I'm looking forward to Modnation Racers. Here's to hoping for something that's just plain fun!
I know what you mean, Squall. This game seems to have come out of nowhere in the last few weeks and it's looking awesome! I guess I just wasn't paying all that much attention to it before, but I am now!
