I fail to see why people think this is even remotely important. I've yet to play a game on either the PS3 or 360 that showed any sort of artifacting due to upscaling. People just trying to make something of nothing.
Lying and deception are the same thing. Both involve not telling the truth.
I chose the PS3 version of this game and it doesn't look anything like this video to me. Either way, it's a great game.
Interesting read, IMO.
This game was in stock at Gamespot today. December 7th?
Please let this be true...please let this be true...please let this be true...
I've got my PS3 copy right here. I sure hope its good because I'm aching to give my PS3 a workout.
I think that SMG is a great game with extremely fun gameplay. It is the first game in a long time that I picked up and didn't want to put down. I didn't feel that way with Ratchet and Clank although its a fun game and I like it a lot. I definitely didn't feel that way with Halo 3, which I thought didn't measure up to Halo 2 and just wasn't all that fun for me.
In fact, yesterday I traded Halo 3 at Gamestop toward SMG and got $45.50 worth of trade-in credit. $35 for Halo 3, $7 ...
Haha...nice!
This is not proof that IGN is biased. It's just proof that fanboys are all upset because they don't agree with IGN's impressions.
The internet hype machine is out of control on this website. It's just a review. Why do people get so upset? And why would people say what score a reviewer should give anything? So this person thought it was only great and not the best game ever created. Big deal. It still seems like a solid title.
Atari has been dying the slowest death in the video game industry. They should have an award for that.
I have my copy but I haven't been able to play it yet. I'll be looking for this stuff while playing later.
Did he keep his PS3 in the garage?
I bet Microsoft is going to stop BC updates and just start trying to resell original Xbox titles as downloads to people that already own the game discs.
I played in in the kiosk at Gamestop and I have to say that I found it very easy to pick up and play. I'm thinking of trading in Halo 3 and picking it up since Gamestop has an extra 20% trade-in offer right now if you buy SMG with your trade credit.
Last I checked the only non-recurring Xbox Live subscriptions are those purchased on the cards in stores. If you signed up with your debit or credit card via Xbox Live that used to automatically be a recurring subscription.
Anytime you subscribe over Xbox Live it is a recurring membership. It is spelled out clearly when you purchase it. You actually have to call Microsoft and cancel your recurring subscription if you don't use the card.
I don't see where Microsoft should be held accountable because the kid lied. $35 is sufficient stupid tax for raising a kid who lacks character to the point where he is going to use your debit card without your permission.
It isn't FUD if there really is a problem.
I don't know. I've never felt that it was ever a good idea to put complete faith in someone else's opinion. That's how people should see reviews. As opinion. Not as a buyers guide.
