While there is no evidence that this guy knows what he's talking about when it comes to the PS3, the 360 had much more in its first year than Gears of War. Dead Rising and Saints Row were both very good games that released within the first year, and it didn't take a full year from the system's release to get them like everything releasing for the PS3 now.
Don't call this guy a liar when in comes to the PS3 if you are going to turn around and do the same thing concerning the 360...
I wonder if existing saves might be corrupt? I would start over and see what happens.
Why? Because you didn't agree with him?
I'll buy MGS4. It's going to be a system seller. If they ever release the thing. I'm predicting it will ultimately come out for Christmas 2008.
To be fair, most of those systems died from lack of software and marketing. The Lynx, in particular, was a remarkable piece of hardware for the time. I own both models and I love the system. But of all of the titles made for it less than a dozen were any good.
I like my PSP better than my DS. I just never got on with the stylus thing. I like the DS, but the PSP is just so much more cool to me. Maybe it's because I can control my PS3 with it.
It's been this way forever. Atari vs. Intellivision. Nintendo vs. Sega. The difference is that now we have the internet to proliferate it.
If you throw enough lawsuits at the wall one of them is bound to stick. Any one of those companies could provide for a handsome payday if successful.
I get to vote for SPAM again!
I voted to report your little poll as SPAM. Have a nice day.
So on Friday it was your brothers that bought a PS3 and they were on their way home with it at that very moment and you couldn't wait to play it. Now it is you that bought it and you can't open it, but you are very happy with it. As long as you're happy I guess.
At least the part about all of Tampa being sold out of PS3's has stayed the same. Maybe they could ship in a few thousand from wherever this guy lives so that people in Tampa won't have to go without this holiday season...
3. Maybe they aren't selling as many as expected.
Seriously, it is a possibility that the PS3 isn't as hot as everyone wants it to be. At least not yet, anyway.
There hasn't been a lot to play on the Wii yet. This is one of the better titles out there, so it is worth a purchase.
What I find sad is that pretty much the only games worth having are those created by Nintendo.
It is a great game that is very well executed. I like Uncharted. It's a good game. I think that it is some of the best that the PS3 has to offer. But I think that SMG is a better game overall.
Well, so far I haven't seen a whole lot of disc switching.
I'm guessing that Super Mario Galaxy is going to win game of the year.
Trying to get all of the traction out of those pictures as possible, eh?
Most of the Wii's first year was full of horrible games. There have been some standouts, though. I'm a big fan of Wii Sports, Trauma Center, Metroid Prime and Super Mario Galaxy.
Actually, bringing up PS2 (and PS1) hardware problems is something more people should do. Both the PS1 and PS2 had cheap, faulty drives in their consoles for the first few years. How many of those 120 million PS2's were people who had to buy more than one because the first one died? And Sony has a poor record for customer service. They had to be sued to recognize hardware problems as well. I'm happy that Sony seems to have finally built a solid machine, but it took them three generations to d...
I bet that by this time next week everyone will have forgotten about this except the most diehard of fanboys.
