That price is insane.
I wonder what would happen when some unsuspecting person buys one as new and tries to register it?
There has to be a threshold at which the human eye can no longer tell the difference. I'm not saying that the current sets reach that threshold, but I know that I find it hard to tell the difference when comparing displays.
Entry level HDTV's don't support 1080p either. So what's the problem?
People that want the best pay for it. The rest buy this.
Someone always says in-game XMB is coming with every update. Why should this one be any different?
Agreed. They should test trades to see if they'll even boot.
It depends on the location. There are 6 Gamestops in my immediate area. Of the 6 there are only two where they don't try to influence my decisions.
I don't see where Forza and GT are the same type of game. Forza doesn't seem to be trying to be a pure simulator like GT is.
Train employees to stop favoring consoles. It is not the job of the retail employee to try to influence peoples' purchasing decisions. If I go into Gamestop and ask for a PS3 game, don't tell me that the Xbox 360 version is better or vice versa. I've done my homework. I know what I want. So don't patronize me.
The thing is that modchips violate the intellectual property rights of console manufacturers. They own the technology so they get to determine how it is used. All people buy is the right to use it, not the right to change it.
I have kids myself, and in as many years as they have been playing with my games I have not had to purchase another copy because they ruined it.
Modchips are illegal for a reason. If their use was as benevolent as you say we wouldn't have t...
Now that the PS3's identity crisis appears to be over I think Sony's going to make a comeback. I'm a PS3 owner, but it seems to me that for the last year Sony's focus has been on Blu-ray and not games. They seem to have finally realized that games are what the people want and they're finally delivering.
I hope they release a demo for Uncharted. I want to see if it is as good as everyone says it is. Ratchet & Clank sure is.
I want Assassin's Creed and Ratchet & Clank. If Uncharted is really good I'll get that, too.
Keep backups of their own games, huh? Right. I'm sure that's what they are doing. If you take care of your games, why do you need to keep backups?
Video games from a convenience store? Interesting...

As much as I want it to be great I'm pretty sure that this game is going to suck.
What's that site that paints them for you? That's only $100.
Nintendo has never been particularly good at reading the market and giving people what they want when it comes to stuff like this.
Seems like both to me. Fun game, either way.
Wow...brutal!
Gamespot has been a bit lacking in the area of reviews recently. So I always take what they say with a grain of salt. I'm looking forward to playing this game for myself, and as much fun as Guitar Hero 2 was I don't see how this one could be bad if it kept even a remote resemblance to the last one.
