I don't care which system it's on, after playing it the thing has to suck everywhere. All it has going for it is T&A.
Ok shmee, I reported your post as SPAM, just like you wanted.
So essentially what you are saying is that everyone who has purchased video games prior to the release of the PS3 is somehow less intelligent than you?
I've paid $50 - $60 for lots of games on DVD over the last several years. All of them have been fantastic. I don't understand how people can even begin to relate the quality of a game to the media that it is on. Unless they are totally clueless and out of touch with reality, that is.
Why are so many people hyping Uncharted in a thread about Assassin's Creed? Are you guys really that insecure about the game?
Go dig up some Uncharted news so you can talk about it there.
Now, if the video can't show the difference, why post the video?
I don't think that there's any question about what HDMI is capable of. I think that right now what matters is how it is actually used.
I've yet to see either a Blu-ray player or an HD-DVD player in WalMart. Unless you count the PS3.
I got my HDMI cable from monoprice.com for $7.41 delivered. It seems to work just fine.
My motivation for using HDMI is that it is the only way to get upscaling of DVD's on my PS3. Secondary to that, the HDMI cable takes up much less real estate than the five cables necessary to make up component, at least when compared to the 360.
As far as the difference between the picture using one or the other as far as games go, I really can't see any. My PS3 is connected via HDMI and my 360 and Wii are connected via component. They all look fine to me.
That's why you should buy rechargeable AA batteries. They can be used for many things and you don't have to line the pockets of companies like this.
I know what he's talking about. The SNES had a terrible yellowing problem.
I suppose that if mine breaks I should hope for it to be unfixable.
I'm glad the problems were all worked out. I'm looking forward to this.
Poor DFresh didn't read the article. It says that it fit just fine on DVD9.
The Genesis actually got Street Fighter II Champion Edition. The gameplay was good with the 6 button pad, but the graphics were so washed out because of the limited color pallette of the Genesis.
I still have my copy of Street Fighter II for my SNES. I dust it off and play it every now and then.
We don't need remakes. We need better original IP's. I'm not disparaging the games on the list. Many of them were genre defining classics. I just think that too much emphasis is placed on digging up the past instead of looking to the future.
Anyone who's been following any of the "great 2008 exclusives" for the PS3 knows that the only reason there are so many great exclusives in 2008 is because all of them slipped from the holiday 2007 release window. They were all delayed. It doesn't take a genius to realize that the winter after a holiday is the slowest time for new titles because of the rush to get so many out for the holidays.
Sony's great 2008 lineup is actually a holiday 2007 failure, but nobody wan...
That $1 billion technically was not a loss for Microsoft. It was a charge against profit and it is considered a sunk cost. It is not something that needs to be "made up" before the console can be considered profitable.
A lot of the spin comes about simply because of how people look at it. Some people look at it as if there's a bucket that the money comes out of and goes into. The bucket is filled to the top at first, and the top is the break-even point. Then the compa...
See that's the thing, once the fiscal results are in they don't try to go back and "regain" losses. It doesn't work that way. Last year's losses are written to the books and this year is a whole new animal. Besides, if that's the way this is going to be attacked, I would imagine that Sony's losses are going to be tougher to overcome considering how much money was invested in Blu-ray and the Cell processor compared to the parts in the 360.
They would have painted racing stripes on it.
