Do people still buy UMD? They need to sell those things for like $5. I'd buy some then.
I think that this boosts VGChartz' credibility somewhat. There's no way they can be dead accurate, but they don't seem to be that far off, either.
I'm still debating over which version to get. I really want this game.
Mine broke 2 weeks before Christmas and I got the replacement the last week of December. I have less confidence now, but hopefully it won't break again.
I'm actually thinking of trading up to an Elite.
Just because Nintendo published it for the N64 doesn't mean they own the rights to the license. I recall a while back where an interview with Rare revealed that the web of rights for this title is so tangled that it might not come to either the Virtual Console or XBLA.
Edit: This is where I remember it from...

You'll have to search for Gold...
Man, this rumor is almost two years old. Why don't these things ever go away?
All good things must end. I can understand. As long as the PS2 is supported people don't really have an incentive to buy PS3. Unless they have an HDTV, that is.
I would buy Assassins Creed for the PSP if it were ported over and didn't completely suck. I wouldn't expect that it would be the same game as the console version, but some sleuthing and assassination on the go wouldn't hurt.
Maybe you should show them how to do it more efficiently. Since they're so lazy they would probably appreciate knowing ways to do it that require less effort. It would be a great service to the gaming community as a whole.
Sony doesn't disable the 8th core to make it more fault tolerant. They disabled the 8th to increase the CPU yield when manufacturing first started.
Looks like a stop-off at Best Buy for me today.
With my Edge card from Gamestop I get an extra 10% off of used games. So that $5 usually turns into $10, which is enough to get me to buy the used one.
Well said! Bubbles for you, friend!
Just because the website's database was wiped doesn't get anyone off the hook. I'm sure their "offender" database and their website database are two different databases.
If publishers don't want people to buy used games then they need to sell better games for less. People aren't going to shell out $60 for a game with little or no replay value. The best games make money for developers. Mediocre ones don't. That's what it really comes down to.
I love the Dreamcast.
I wish there were a way to give bubbles more often. I would give you bubbles again.
Probably with a store service plan. But most plans limit the number of times you can do that without buying a new plan. So 3 swaps seems a bit suspicious to me.
At some point you have to stop waiting for price drops and jump in. I was a fairly early adopter and I watched the price of my TV drop 50% within 6 months of buying it. But the way I see it I was watching TV and playing games in HD for 6 months longer than I would have been.
A lot of time the waiting causes you to get left behind.
I'm with you guys. I need this game!
