Might as well put your condoms in it. You aren't using them for anything else, amirite?
J/K...just a friendly joke.
I bought the $59.99 version and it wasn't even worth that much to me. I traded it after about 3 weeks.
About the only thing that HD-DVD could do at this point is to exit the movie market and focus on the platform as a data storage option.
I see a lot of "you can already do this with custom firmware" comments, but who wants to risk bricking their PSP's? I'm all for it being a supported feature.
Too bad early adopters like me get screwed when it comes to some of the newer features, like Skype. It sucks that I have to upgrade my PSP to take advantage of the newest goodies.
You know, I really like to give out bubbles as positive feedback. I really do. Antiomo started out well with his comment, then quickly deteriorated into fanboy nonsense with the "xbot" crap. I hate the "fandroid" stuff, too.
DVD is going to remain in play for a long time. There's no compelling reason for the mass market to adopt HD discs since there are upscaling DVD players that do such a good job with upscaling standard DVD's. It won't be until those go aw...
I really do hope the format war is over.
Resistance 2 has great graphics. I'm sure the gameplay will rival the first one. I really wish I liked FPS games.
Pretty lame defamation attempt by a copycat. Comment reported as SPAM.
I wouldn't predict doom and gloom for Microsoft in 2008. They're making inroads with the 360 platform. As much as I love my 360 I don't think that Microsoft is going to come out as number 1 this time around, but I do predict that over the next few years they'll give Sony a run for their money.
I'm not sure. Wouldn't the version in the US work, though?
There are a couple of good deals buried in that list. Most of them are things I wouldn't normally buy.
I can't wait for the format to be decided so that I can get all of the HD movies that I want to see.
Agreed. I paid $60 for the set at Sam's. I still think that it was worth it, but this is even better. And the 3 disc set also includes Spiderman 2.1, which is the director's cut of that movie. I actually like that version of Spiderman 2 better than the theatrical version.
Yes. The Special Edition is on Blu-ray.
I used to have a crappy cordless phone that prevented anything in my home from connecting to my wireless network. When my wife would answer the phone my laptop and 360 would get disconnected. This was before the PS3, so I don't know if that would have had the same problem.
Yeah, the DS version is bad with the glitch where the cases always have the same values in them from the time you start it up. Seems like that should have been a glaring error that QA testing should have found.
It was a decent-enough game on the 360 I guess. I never actually finished it, though.
Actually, it's true that Betamax met its final demise in 2002. It had a really large following and Enhanced Definition Betamax had actually reached DVD quality at a resolution of 500 line @ 670x480 pixels. It was mostly used by hobbyists and purists who believe that magnetic recordings are superior to digital ones.
You should Google it. It's pretty interesting stuff.
Too bad they ended the deal. I've got a $20 Walmart gift card that someone gave me for Christmas.
