I've had my 360 for two years and I've yet to feel abused. I've had the RROD, too. I play games on my 360 more than my PS3 and Wii combined.
Most of the people who hate the 360 so much don't even have one. So let them say whatever they will.
Sony would have done the same thing if they had actually been able to deliver all of their scheduled titles in 2007. The only reason for the stellar 2008 lineup is because so many titles missed their initial release dates.
Leave it to a marketing guy to spin this into the competition's demise, right?
I'm stoked for this one. It's going to take me a year to finish it because I enjoy wandering and causing mayhem much more than I enjoy the actual missions.
Those numbers show just how irrelevant Japan has become in relationship to the rest of the world. At least in terms of video games.
There's a way to keep the prices from spiraling out of control. The higher the price, the lower the demand will be. The market will only bear just so much.
How lame. The guy neglects to follow the terms of service and leaves his account stagnate with billing errors for more than a year. Then he whines on the internets about it when he finally gets around to dealing with it.
I hope that people don't believe that Microsoft has done this guy a great injustice. People need to take some personal responsibility.
I purchased 2 new Blu-ray discs during that sale. Most of the selection sucked, but I did score Pirates 3 and Die Hard 4.
Shouldn't you post this in the open zone? This article isn't about PS3 vs. 360, so please keep the flaming where it belongs.
Trash talking during gameplay and being flamed by idiots is two different things.
I guarantee you I'll get years out of it. I could play GTA and never do the side missions. I'm cool with cajacking and camping on top of buildings and shooting cars with bazookas.
I really do hope the PSP takes off. I won mine, so I can't complain about the price. Mostly I use mine for internet radio because there aren't many games that I like. When I do play games it is usually compilations of old-school arcade games.
LOOL! That's because internets are serious frickin' business!
Wow. I would be incredulous, too.
All companies should. But good ones do.
The game does not cost $100. The Prologue version is there for people that want something now, and they'll pay $40 for their impatience. Others will wait for the full release and only pay $60.
The point is that everyone has a choice. Nobody is being forced to do anything.
And when they do reset them you'll see a flood of "OMG I WSNT CHEETING!!1!" posts. But we'll all know that they really were.
Now I need a BDLive disc. Too bad there won't be any until April.
Yeah, I know what you mean about Sony. I have to admit that until the 40gb came along I was having my doubts about the PS3, even though I own a 60gb model.
But honestly, Microsoft shouldn't be in a panic. The 360 has been on the market for nearly 2 and a half years, so a price drop or heavy promotion isn't a sign of weakness as much as it is a sign of age.
At least that's how I feel about it.
Why do people always assume that Microsoft is in a panic?
Interesting.
